@mssmjscss. Well I don't think I said Mr K looked gay or stoned and I didn't swear either !! But the comment from Turkey was about the same as mine !!
Look out for the Fine Autumn Rain song which is my favourite.
@mssmjscss it's because he is acting, not just singing. He is playing two roles - the girl and the cossack. It is funny because it is meant to be funny.
This choir has not bad performers.. Igor Volkoff is good, but he dont reflect emotion in this song.. But... Kharitonov is feel the emotion in this song..And he reflecting very well.. It is a first to see a career spanning 40 years on youtube
A superb Russian bass, excellent diction, thoughtful dramatic presentation (see the flirtatious girl and she’s looking UP to the rider on his horse when she refuses her name – nice touch) combined with confidence, humour, good looks and a smart uniform, what’s not to fall in love with ?
Igor Volkov also sings Chernoglazaya Kazachka - the uniform nowhere near as attractive ! but you can see the marked difference in performance
I have watched all your clips on You tube including your thanks to your fans. I am delighted by you voice and your nobility. How lucky we are to be able to view some of your work. Thankyou so much.

@grandslam1998 yes he is a truly great singer and i think you miss the point of comments, comments are for sharing and to be exact his name is Leonid M. Kharitonov.
@0darkwizard0 Try Newfie's sea shanties. Also real cowboy songs have little to do with Hollywood production. But unfortunately another meaning of freedom - free will - "wolja" in Russian has been never known to English. And sure they miss it!
I just can't help smiling looking at this. Shame it's 1969, I'd sooo throw my panties at him )))
