they are actually slightly worse than the arcade version, they used lower resolution textures because of some technical issue with porting the textures from the model 2 boards or something.
Hes always ducking down. I tried fighting him as Lau but its hard whereas in the 1st one, I managed to complete the whole game in 2 and a half minutes playing as Lau. When fighting Lion, best character to pick is Sarah and do that triple kick thingy
This game brings back memories. I remember I kept losing to Jeffry but then when I got past him, I got stuck on Kage but after that, the game was easy. Its easier playing as Sarah
the stages look a lot better, especially Shun's that look's sick, but the character modles dont look any better or any worse than what they were before
I'm confirming your words. When I was playin the arcade version at the age of 8, I always defeated the first three, but I could RARELY beat Pai, and I never managed to beat Lyon (this is part of my greatest memories).
I hope they have on the sega pc the Virtua fighter 2, and Virtua fighter kids for the sega pc. I hope sale it soon. Because they keep on releasing Manhunt series for the playstation 2 and 3, and 50 cents bulletproof for the playstation 2. So stick to the original import games like the kamen rider, and sentai series games, and also virtua fighter 2
PS2 version of VF2 has the same polygon count as the MODEL 2 arcade version, but PS2 VF2 has downgraded / worse texture mapping and colors.
Although PS2 is vastly more powerful than MODEL 2 the PS2 has serious flaws in its implementation of some graphics rendering features, that raw horsepower just does not change. It's a shame because that means there is STILL no "arcade perfect" VF2 for home systems.
The PS2 version of Virtua Fighter 2 on Sega Ages 2500. I don't know why the visuals were darker than usual, despite the arcade version's 3D backgrounds remaining intact for the PS2 re-release.
i have virtua fighter 2 for the sega saturn. i kick ass with sarah!
