Yeah Cyclops may be thicker but they are both heavy waves regardless. I personally prefer to watch riders take on shark island. Its a longer ride with a real unpredictable end bowl. People bust more out there. Both waves are pretty much challenges for survival.

Hey sick cats. I don't understand why everyone is so impressed by The Island. I surfed that place on a 12 foot SE ground swell for four hours in the dark back in 1998. We went out at 9:00pm after tripping on a hell cocktail of Ice, Dragon and Mash Potatoes. I wore a powerful Petzl Headlamp, which helped me see my way out of the barrel, but most of the time it was just hell dark Chicko. There were menacing Bull Sharks - which I fed Muesli Bars - and I lost a Churchill to an insane White Pointer.
