JPJs big old Percussive bass sound is perfect for this style of music, but I never cared for it much in the latter Zep years. Much preferred the smooth Fender Jazz sound for that.

This would be a good video if it wasn' t for the crappy video editing. Videoagphers like to show how fancy they are. I saw the Vultures on Austin City Limits and their video people focused on the great guitar and drum playing not on flying all over the place to show how many cameras they have and how they can go all over with the cameras.

@SWAMPskate Yes, Dave is the drummer of TCV. The bands other members are Josh Homme on guitar/song and John Paul Jones on bass. I can't say I recognize the bald man on backup guitar/song on this live recording but I'm sure someone out there probably can fill in on that.

@ktrel54 You can get that sound with a fuzz distortion setting. Just alter the parameters of the effect to make it sound the same. I use an Electroharmonix Big Muff Pi fuzz pedal and it sounds identical.
