  • those dogs look in terrible condition they should have way more size

  • Yeah I they keep crossing them for temperament reasons but at the same time they are ruining what makes them great dogs..They wind up breeding out the size and the coat...But I still think these are gorgeous dogs.

  • Yeah I they keep crossing them for temperament reasons but at the same time they are ruining what makes them great dogs..They wind up breeding out the size and the coat...

  • someone from china bought one Tibetan Mastiff dog 11 monts for 1.5 million USA dollars

  • everybody stfu about poodles wtf

these are some beautiful dogs en btw bn je nederlands zo ja ik wil echt graag zon hond maar dan echt mt die leuwen haren op zn nek man

  • beautiful boys n girls you have there.....wonderful! your lucky

  • rotweiler

  • Is beautiful too....

  • They look like my TM, Rudi. Yes, they are very beautiful dogs.

  • Well there are basicly two lines of TMs, one bigger and one is slimer. The bigger dogs where breed for guarding property and was usually chained near a home, temple etc. And then you had the little smaller/slimer type that followed the caravans and roamed around. They where breed for purpose and thats why you have 2 body types, but both are pure TMs.

  • and these dogs are from my country tibet. freetibet........

  • this song is a keyboard version of the linkin park...song ..numb.......!!

  • what's the name of the song? Pm me if any1 knows. it does sound familiar

  • What I've Done by Linkin Park

  • or What We've Done lozl sorry I forget sometimes

  • so beautiful

  • gorgeous animals

  • I have a rotty so idk, but this looks like a hairy rottwiler sorta. I have no idea about mastiffs

  • they just look that colour.there are smaller ones(like in this vid) and very large ones.anyway nice dog, wouldnt want them chasing you

  • Of course these are REAL Tibetan mastiffs, anyone who loves the breed can see this. And you who said that they should be larger than the CO...no, that's just not true. There are larger TM and smaller, slimmer TM...but nothing in the breed's standard says they should be larger than the CO. Read it and you'll see. This breed is ancient, it has more looks than one but they all have in common that they are magical beings.

  • At first, I thought the same thing. I thought they were to small, they were not like the TM that I have seen here in breeders here in the US. But after close ups of their faces...their muzzles, it was obvious. They are that same breed I admire so much. They are beautiful dogs. We should strive for such perfection in ourselves.

  • What is this song called? It's beautiful! ...So are the dogs as well! ;p

  • Its Linkin Park. Idk which song though. But it's just pleyed on the piano.

  • Except the diffrence between F and M there is even several diffrent types of looks on the TM. Some is like "a big bears/Lions", other onece - like these onece - are more slim and less bear like. If I remember correct these diffrent types also originates in diffrent areas of tibet. So same race diffrent types - not nessessery half breeds.

  • Exactly! These dogs are real Tibetan Mastiffs. I saw documentaries of Tibetan Mastiffs from Tibet, and I can tell you the lion/bear type were not even there. The man where I bought my dogs even went to Tibet, to buy a dog there and that dog looked more like a wolf. I never saw a Tibetan like that and he is a pure Tibetan from Tibet. There is also difference between my dogs. One is smaller than the other one and have different shaped heads. Anyhow if they were mixed, I would tell.

  • By the way look at this documentary on youtube:

Tibetan Mastiffs in Tibet with Nomads guarding

What kind of dogs do you see in the documentary?

  • Why would you want J2201 to be any less proud of his dogs?

A dog would never submit your comments [if they had the option].

  • if u wanna see the real mastiff u should come to tibet...it is said tht all mastiffs are decendants from the tibetan mastiff

  • yea, hope one day i could go to tibet and have a look at those sublime pure breed.

i hate seeing them being hybrid pets.

they are born to be prideful...more like lions than little dogs

  • Ehm...you don't know a lot about this breed, do you? Yes, they should be larger than small dogs..but even the Tibetan people can be seen with THIS type of TM, not the large furry ones we see in dog shows...

  • Well they are not a half breed..I have the pedigree..

  • I love this dog and when he dies, a great part of me dies. I wanna hug him while I can...

  • I love those Tibetan Mastiff's the are truly cool dogs!.....you are so lucky to have such amazing animals.

  • those dogs are so beatiful, i wish i could own one of these, but right now not enough space in the flat and anyway living in a city is bad for a dog

  • the dogs must be looked after as the best of our possession and best of friends and closest of relatives! even though the dog is full of physical faults..for his love will be ever pure! that is what dog loving is all about.. criticizing others dog shows the values one has inculcated.. n it is not a good sign of a dog lover.

  • and to the people who told that tibetan mastiff should be larger than co's. i dont think so.. tm shouldn't necessarily be so big! but i have seen tibetan mastiffs standing over 37 inches and weighing over 100 kilos! but still, extremely efficient at guarding n fighting off beasts! i'm setting up a breeding program of tms next year.. i'll collect original tibetan mastiffs from tribes n breed them to be true to their type!frm wat i've seen, tms r much dangerous than cos n caos n kangals!

  • j2201,

you have a wonderful dog. dont pay heed to the these people who r criticizing your dog.. let me tell you onething. tibetan mastiffs are not meant to be dogs bred to fit fci standards. in india n tibet n all, they r bred to fit the standards set by the intensity of the work n danger! i have seen many dogs like yours in india! n the word tibetan mastiff itself is a wrong word! your dog comes under smaller n lighter types of dogs!! i just loved your dog! congrats! n good luck! :)

  • Actually there no Tibetan Mastiff in India. We had when we lived in Tibet. I haven't seen any TM in India. India is rather too hot for TM. Most family in Tibet have at least one TM to guard house and sheeps.

  • poodle? How do you come up with that?Land in Florida? For real what are you talking about?

  • he is very confused. funny.

  • Your Tibetan dogs look like they are mixed with something smaller. Tibetan Mastiff should be larger than Caucasian Ovcharka. Muzzle is too long. I know people mix dogs today and try to sell them as "pure blood".

  • Well they are not. And the Tibetan Mastiff shouldn't be larger than the Caucasian Ovcharka. That is not true...How do you get your information? Look at the FCI standard, and you will see! And my Tibetan Mastiffs are real pure blood..And only one of my dogs is a little bit smaller, because his father was smaller. But my other dog is family of a champion in Holland. I have the pedigree of my dogs..So I can guarantee you they are not a mix!

  • foolish chinese people, china is the country suppressing their own people as well as the tibetan people.

    now stfu

  • stfu, you are not chinese, you have no authority to say that

  • you are a yellow slave, I am glad that I am not chinese and supporting the fucked up government there.

You have no authority in your land and in Tibet, thats why those dickheads need VIOLENCE.

    Fool...

  • Nice video, I've added it to our forum

  • Amazing doggy! That said, chonyi is right, there is no such thing as "Tibetaanse" (the word you used in your description)

  • well I am sorry to inform you both, but tibetaanse is the Dutch word for this kind of dog! Tibetaanse Mastiff... So this word does exist!

  • IT IS the DUTCH word for Tibetan......so they are not making it up. Translated Tebetaanse IS TIBETAN....

  • im sorry to inform you... but its called tibetan .... not tibetanese (their is no such thing as that)... please dont associate us with the race of people that is trying to erase our culture (the chinese)..

  • Dear Chonyi,

Where did you read the word Tibetanese? I didn't use that word...???Where did you saw that?? Because I do not know what you are talking about:S
