I read the book and loved it, especially the ending. I couldn't wait to see the movie. My friend saw the movie before I did and told me they changed the ending. I was so disappointed that I'm not interested in watching it now.

I would still recommend watching it, it's still an emotional moving story but I agree, was very upset they changed the whole ending.

Dude, I read the book, it's not girly, ha ha. I'm surprised that you liked it and you read the book! I was waiting for it to come out for months and I saw it when it opened and I hated it.

Although I disagree, I loved the directing. Cameron Diaz and Nick Cassavetes saved the movie.

I thought the directing itself was fine, just how he did the flashbacks wasn't very successful. The other person I saw the movie with agreed. I didn't hate the movie, I liked it actually. Just disappointed with the ending.

I would've been happier going to see Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. I just thought that this was going to be sensational and, to me, it wasn't.
