okay i have a psp fat with a sony official 1800mah battery and a sony 4gb magicgate memory stick pro duo. with official 6.31 firmware. so to install custom firmware i need to downgrade my firmware and in order to do that i need a magic mem stick and pandora battery and in order to make those you need to have custom firmware unless you buy them which i cant do. and the only way to any of this you need something else to do it aghhhhh!!!!! its just a never ending circle!!!! WTF SHOULD I DO!?!? HELP

@jordog12 you can make ur own Pandora's battery with a hardmod, and an MMS is easy to make with this program... its not a never ending circle. Plus, you do not need to downgrade your PSP, you just install the CFW directly.

@jordog12 depends... i am not sure about the PSP Fat batteries if there is a way to make a hardmod pandora battery that you can restore back to a normal one... you would have to research a bit. If there isnt a way, you will need to either buy a pandora's battery or a new regular battery from a sony store or other electronics store

i did this but for some reason i did it with the Psp grader v008 and its the same thing you did right here. Number 5. says select the eboot.... I did everything correctly but there was something wrong with the load EBOOT file from 5.00pbp, it didn't say "select the 5.00 EBOOT you downloaded" and i was using psp grader008 :\ i did everything else correctly and it worked, And i couldn't press that button Select the file

@LimeF1SH You need to load the 5.00.PBP Eboot, this is a must. I am not really understanding the matter though... are you having issues loading the EBOOT because the program is not letting you, or is it something else?

yes, the guy also turned my 1gb memory stick into a magic memory stick using the exact same thing as he did, no I fixed it though. I found out he has a fat and I have a slim so he game me stuff for a fat psp, I made a mms later from scratch and fixed it.

Vista should work according to the people who created the program. If something doesn't work, right click on the program and run as administrator. XP was what i used.

It must be a magicgate enabled Memory Stick. If pressing triangle on the MS, and selecting information, tells you that MagicGate support is unknown, then you cannot use that MS.
