About my other comment . I don't know Perry Farrell and just sussed he's cool band dude. Probably intimidated a bit at interviewing one of his heros -i'd suspect. tell me i'm talking bollocks and i'll gracefully accept.

yeah I think you've missed Perry's angle. he's a very knowledgeable person and Lou Reed is his hero. he's doing his best to not talk all over Lou and let Lou do the talking. sure he's never heard of St Anne's, he's not a New Yorker (from L.A.) but he does what most interviewers don't do: show some restraint.

@bruckner66 Perry Farrell was the lead singer of the LA band Jane's Addiction. He's heavily influenced by Lou/VU/drugs. He was completely relevant back in the 80's and early 90's.

Perry was not only the singer of Jane's Addiction, but he still is occasionally. and he was also the singer for Porno For Pyros and Satellite Party and the guy who made Lollapolooza such a massive event. he's Perry Farrell dammit!

I cringe at the interviewer, he's so useless. Lou seems up for a good chat, talkative, on the ball and the guy just isn't with it. Poor show
