  • @loserlately In Osaka Japan at the Mall/Bus Depo

  • It’s not a waterfall, it’s a printer!

  • another reason that earthquake and tsunami was so sad -- it wiped away very smart people.

    :(

  • It is just the lights tjat makes it. It falls the same amount of water all the time

  • @theSebbenajsverige No actually it's water droplets released at differnt moments to make the images. Yes it is light up so you can see it better, but you can hear in teh video as the differnt amounts of water hit the bottom.

  • @theSebbenajsverige hear the differing sound, depending on the water-drawn pictures

  • 1 person didn't watch the video.

  • this is in osaka right?

  • @1337Flyboy Yes it's in Osaka, pretty awesome place.

  • Seems to be the same idea as your desk printer. Small valves open and close to allow the water droplets to fall under gravity. Timed right and released at the right time will form patterns or letters. At least thats how I would do it. 2-3 rows of fast acting valves releasing water at difference stages. Possibly 1 jet every 2mm.

  • THAT. WAS. AWESOME!

  • it is a shit ton of tiny little valves controlled by little actuators, which are controlled by a computer, in theory it is something like a printer! i love this stuff...

  • South gate building... xDDD

  • Is it done with some kind of strobe light, or is it computer controlled valves and gravity?

  • @Tomsonic41 It's controled water and gravity. I thought it was cooler than strobe lights.

  • That is crazy
