Just over three weeks ago I lost my partner of 8 years in a motorcycle accident, I have posted this video on a forum that my partner used. The video is so heartfelt and sums up how I feel. When I first viewed the video, long before my partner lost her life, I thought god, I hope I never lose some one so close in an accident , but it happened and I now know Duey what you went through and are still going through.
I hope one day I will have the strength to pick up the guitar again.

WOW!!! You moved me to tears with this!! As a fellow musician I know just how important it is to play with true emotion. I could truly feel the pain as the tears were coming from your eyes when you played this. I lost my Mother almost 3 years ago and it is still very hard for me to play "Crying" by Joe Satriani without crying, but I also know when I feel the music enough to bring tears as I play that I also know that I am playing in rare form just as you are here.

You are the type of lead played I'd be honored to share a stage with and trade leads. I am a fan of every genre of music, and I have grown to admire many guitar virtuoso's who display complete technical mastery of the instrument.......but no guitar player has ever literally brought a hot stream of tears down my cheek.....this is the most heartfelt, incredibly soulful guitar playing I have ever heard......thank you and may God's perfect peace be with your sister, you, and all of your friends and family forever
