  • Don't know about you guys, but changing your diet doesn't really do anything for multiple sclerosis, and multiple sclerosis is often non-terminal, anyway. It's not surprising that a person that learns that he or she has an illness will try to better their life, but you can't imply a causation from that correlation.

People who don't switch to a raw food after being diagnosed with MS can also "beat" it. They just don't go claiming that their diet made them better.

  • @DeadFishFactory Do you have MS? And if so what are you doing to treat it?

  • @jerseygrl5 I don't, but I know that the Evers diet (raw food diet) is untested and the only places advocating it is raw food websites.

Remember, people who "beat" MS but didn't use a raw food diet aren't making YouTube videos about how NOT switching to raw food diets cured them. This is simply nothing more than confirmation bias.

There are videos of people on YouTube who said that they beat their MS with prayer.

  • @DeadFishFactory Well, I can tell you this, I was sick with weird symptoms for decades, falling down, numb limbs, vertigo, more. After a horrific case of optic neuritis and an MRI, I was diagnosed with MS by 4 different neurologists. I rejected the drugs recommended, stopped eating gluten, started green juicing and all my symptoms have completely gone away and I feel better than I have in decades. No prayer, just diet. It works. Read about gluten ataxia.

  • @jerseygrl5 And chances are you could have beaten MS if you stuck to your regular diet. If you had, you would not attribute it to NOT eating raw foods.

  • @DeadFishFactory NO! You don't understand I was sick for years. I would periodically go on a no carb diet (did not eat gluten) and I would be better. Then I would return to the SAD (Standard American Diet) and be sick, I didnt' put it together. I KNOW that diet has reversed MS. I am not a huge raw food eater. I eat some but not exclusively. I know how I feel from what I eat. Read about Celiac Ataxia. Gluten is poison for many people and causes MS like symptoms.

  • @jerseygrl5 Somehow I don't believe you. Either you are embellishing your story or you have confirmation bias towards raw food diets already.

And if gluten is poison, then the majority of the world should have MS.

  • If Robert Deniro here can cure himself of MS symptoms , I'm sure most people can too. He isn't the first to do it and i've heard numerous stories about people who have done this. Some on here I see. The 'hygiene hypothesis' is another thing to look at as well as helminthic therapy. It sounds crazy but evidently works very well.

  • @surfmcgoogler Why be racist and condesending? He doesn't look anything like Robert DeNiro.

  • I just LOVE the proactive approach this guy takes in fighting his disease! Thanks for putting the video out there!

  • I have ms, haven't taken a med since '98, was almost in a wheelchair and went raw in '99, started a fasting schedule in '01, and hiked from Maine to Tennessee on the Appalachian Trail in '03. Be patient, but goto nature.

  • So is it bad to cook vegetables doing this diet (I have MS to and been a vegan for 2 weeks & a half)

  • Concentrated fish oil is also fantastic for repairing nervous system along with pure bilberry, also helps repair the nerves damaged by ms.

  • @jtking2504 where do you get pure bilberry? I have seen bilberry extract but not sure what you are referring to.

  • @gratefulnlearning, hi there, I live in Australia so over here there is a brand called 'Greenridge' which sells it, it comes in a liquid form which is very good quality. If you can get it in Australia, then you can definitely get it in the States somewhere. Possibly a Chinese Medicine practitioner could supply it.

  • love it, thank you :-)

  • I'm really happy for you! My best friend got diagnosed 4 years ago, today he is in a hospital bed requiring help with feeding. He can't walk and can barely talk. His vision is getting worse too.

He resists what you are saying, he dosen't believe that detox & eating-raw can help him...

Can you please do me a HUGE favour and please tell us HOW ARE YOU DOING NOW?????

I'm visiting England to see him, and I hope I can get a positive up-to-date story from you, to inspire him!

    Thanks, Luke.

  • @lukekelly79 Hi Luke, I keep in touch with Robert periodically by email and he is still doing great! I connected with him here after seeing this youtube and wanted to compare notes. We both do green juicing, lots raw, no gluten, exercise regularly and get regular colonics. For me I am in remission for 4 years now and frankly just keep getting better and better. Seriously.....it's clear that avoiding gluten and all the healthy food is repairing my heath.

  • @jerseygrl5 oh and also keep my vitamin D levels good by supplementation and getting regular sun without sunscreen.

  • @jerseygrl5 Do you eat any other grains? I don't have MS but I have family members who do and I'm interested in avoiding it.

  • Have MS, diagnosed in 2008.... I decided to use a power juicer and just eat "real" food and just living well and eating real food with juice and/or water and I saw big improvements within days. I didn't have a plan and I just stumbled onto this "concept" and I have to say... that based on my attempts to just live more healthy and seeing this I am quite convinced that I can control my MS through diet.

  • thank you so much... i'll do it!

  • Yes! Yes! Yes! I finally got a series of colonics this week and I FEEL GREAT!

Jennifer is correct, everyone should get a colonic!

  • look up "chelation".

  • Interesting - their skin looked so amazing.

  • good for u

  • does he not know that ms symptoms are sporadic?

  • They put a pump in your anus and flush out all the lingering waste in your intestines with water. I am sure somebody else can explain better, but it has been beneficial to many.

  • Funny thing, before he said he had skin problems, the 1st thing I said to myself when the video started was that he had nice skin, he looks great! Hopefully his story will inspire many more people with other ailments.

  • Fantastic video .... i've had MS-like symptoms.... particularly moved by this

  • I was diagnosed with MS 3 years ago and have turned my health completely around without medication and through diet. I juice daily and avoid gluten and lots more.

People! Our lousey diet is killing us! This is why the health care in the country is so expensive.

I am now symptom free and I know I will avoid any further damage to my system with a proper diet!

  • @jerseygrl5 I thought it was diet too... It partly is, but after I started mega dosing (normal dosing) vitamin D (since i live at 45 deg latitiude) everything is normal and I can eat a typical SAD diet and feel great.

  • @wordey123 That is amazing. I know what you mean about vitamin D. I make sure and get lots of sun in the summer and also supplement, I am slightly below 45 deg latitude. You are so right, D is ultra important. I take 5,000 units a day. How much are you taking?

  • @jerseygrl5 I dont have MS, but another auto immune disease called ulcerative colitis, which I find is greatly relieved by vitamin D. I used to go to tanning beds 2 years ago during school, and my colitis was fine, but when I stopped I noticed now that thats when I was getting sick... I take 2 doses of 5000UI daily, and I'm gonna get my blood levels tested to make sure I'm not below or too high of the safe range. I also try to stay gluten and dairy free for general safety, hah.

  • @wordey123 Isn't it ironic how they scare people to stay away from the tanning beds? I think they'd rather have us sick and on drugs than healthy and using the tanning beds certainly make a difference for me!!! I've heard of many other people who take mega doses of D with similiar results! Good for you! It thrills me to hear about people like you who are repairing their health through diet and life style changes. Wish the MD's would share that info. Great thinking on getting tested!

  • @jerseygrl5 I dont think of it as the pharmacuetical companies and the doctors being the bad people... We're our own enemy, trying to blame others... Its called survival of the fittest, if you want to survive youll make it happen, mostly with intelligence, which I have applied to my vast amount of research with colitis. ;)

  • @wordey123 Agreed! Most people can't be bothered being proactive about their health. They just want the "magic bullet". I have friends with MS who have seen my miraculous recovery BUT rather than try to make similiar changes just keep injecting the drugs and eating garbage. But doctors on the other hand just push drugs....NOT ONE ever suggested diet or supplements to me. I had to learn on my own by reading copious amounts of literature.

  • @jerseygrl5 I was told I have MS also and I changed my diet and I feel much better, a lot of cheap food is poison

  • @jerseygrl5 when you say you avoid gluten do you mean no wheat products at all ? and if so, what do you it instead of wheat ?

  • @DHammerr Yes, that is correct, I eat NO wheat at all. And you have to be very careful because they put in it everything, you must read ingredients on everything. Modified food startch? It's wheat. There are plenty of gluten free foods. Gluten free pasta from Tinkyada, made from brown rice, gluten free bread from Udi's. It gets easy after a while once you realize what you can and can't eat. Check out the Gluten Free Mall on line for various products. Quinoa is also good.

  • @jerseygrl5 i reread your initial comment and i saw that youre taking medication :( i plan on taking none at all, and being symptom free through natural treatments.

do you have a link to this juicing method youre talking about ? i also want to make this juice

  • @DHammerr @DHammerr Actually I NO medication. Absolutely none! If you read the literature on the various MS drugs you will find very little benefit and horrible side effects. Suggest you read about Jay Kordich, the father of juicing. He is on facebook and will help you will any questions you have, Jay and his wife Linda are wonderful people who are willing to share their knowledge. Will email you link as YT will not let me post it here.

  • i love matt and angela! totally awesome story about curing his MS too- so happy for him.

the only thing i always wonder is... if you're eating 100% raw food, how can "bad" things still come out of you in colonics? where would it come from?

  • I like what this man is saying. I like how he didn't wanna go down the path of being a statistic of Big Pharma, as well as how people want a "magic bullet" solution to deal with their problems. I think that people wanting that kind of healing comes from the fact that in America, we want so many conveniences for all things, like he said we get lazy. Glad I looked @ this video. I will look into colonics too. Thanks for this video & inspiration!

  • Colonic #2 in 3 days and feel great. Thanks for the video Matt and helping me to move forward.

  • colonics, colinics & more colonics arrroooo lol :P I think I'm going to have to treat myself to colonix for my birthday! lol

  • keep it up rob , great stuff !:)

  • Robert is a very good speaker. Way to go and Thanks for sharing your knowledge with others.

  • Congrats!!!! My dad has the worst form of MS and he lives in a nursing home where he cannot get a live food diet. His own doctor told him that the more fresh food he can eat, the better it would be for him. Unfortuately, he cannot get the food he needs where he gets his care.

  • is there anyway u can get him out?

  • I really wish I could, he lives in AZ and I live in MI. He refused to move or stay here. As well, his SSDI is being garnishing for old child support and so his income is only $90 a month and I just got laid off from my law firm. It's a mess.
