Eh... I didn't really like the remake all that much. The first half was good, but then it just reverted back to the original and followed it way too closely... which I didn't like. I did like Zombie's Devil's Rejects, though. But at least Michael Bay isn't the director (he can't direct his way out of a paper bag), he's only the producer.
Yeah the last half hour did seem like a rushed version of the original,..but the backstory stuff was awesome..made a few things from the original make a lot more sense.

A Canadian stuntman named Ken Kirzinger played Jason in FVJ, and a guy named Derek Mears plays Jason in this reboot. Kane Hodder won't be playing Jason anymore, so get the fuck over it, move on and stop trolling.

Movies 5-10 are broken. The series needs a reboot. The first 4 are the only good ones, even though you can get some satisfying deaths from the others, zombie Jason is NOT scary at all. In the first 4, he could be at least considered scary.

AH! Chill out! Though I myself despise Michael Bay... the creators of the movie have confirmed that this remake contains story elements from the first three friday the 13th films. So we'll see Jason's backstory (drowning in the lake, etc)... THE SACK HAS BEEN CONFIRMED AS IN THE MOVIE... and then we'll see him don his trademark hockey mask and slay some promiscuous teenagers. Let's just hope it's good...

Eh... I didn't really like the remake all that much. The first half was good, but then it just reverted back to the original and followed it way too closely... which I didn't like. I did like Zombie's Devil's Rejects, though. But at least Michael Bay isn't the director (he can't direct his way out of a paper bag), he's only the producer.

Yeah... I liked the scene where he beat up the bully with the stick. And some of the scenes at the asylum were pretty cool.
I'm liking the look of the new Jason though... they just released this new pic of him swinging an axe... looks pretty cool. Jason is a lot more... tumor-ish.

My biggest question is why does this have to be called a "remake" Why can't it be called another film in the series?.In The Final Chapter it spills the story the second you play it. This is how I see it, big fucking flashback, openning scenes we see Mrs.Voorhees then we get into Jason then sink into the story of abunch of kids finding Camp Crystal Lake.
