A street fight with Murray isn't the same as a cage fight with Liddell:

1) There are NO gloves (which is why Chuck was able to KO so many people that night)

2) Tito claims to have been drunk (which leaves him prone to getting dropped)

According to the stories I've heard (aside from Tito's), the combo dropped Ortiz & a kick to the FACE took him out. Although it's worth noting that Murray didn't think he was COMPLETELY out, the consensus is Tito got his ass whooped that night.

Read "Blood on the Mat" and it also confirms dozens of people were on the street when that fight started. Miletich WAS there, because he is part of the reason the whole street fight started over a simple misunderstanding. Tito was simply a victim of being in the wrong place at the wrong time.

again, u need to read the book. i'm not disputing whether or not tito was out cold. but chuck was busy fighting a bunch of people. this is what chuck said in his own book. he was fighting bare dudes and didn't see tito. and his version was backed up by matt hughes who said in his book,''chuck had his back against the wall, knocking a bunch of people out coming at him.''

I don't by that, the people who know for sure are Lee Murray and Tito Ortiz. Pat Miletich wasn't even there neither was Matt Hughes, yet Hughes puts that story in his book. Also Chuck Liddell was there too, and he confirms that Tito was never knocked out let alone kicked in the head! He also said that there was never a fistfight between Tito and Murray, just loud words and a brief scuffle.

@bronxmatt1215 no, your wrong. i have the chuck liddel book sitting right next to me. chuck doesn't say whether lee murray vs tito happened or not, what he says is he didn't see it himself cos he was so busy 'knocking out cats' as he puts it himself... trying to protect his smaller friend who got attacked during the brawl. so as u can see, that doesn't mean the fight between tito and murray didn't happen. just chuck did not see it himself
