An analysis of arithmetic series, describing the increase of individuals of a polpulation, shows the Fibonacci numbers, if continuous time is replaced with distinct time intervals. Because the golden ratio is observed in nature, it follows that time is quantized, which is not more 'divine' than math and physics are. Indeed, our physical laws are not defined for time intervals shorter than the Planck-time (10^-42 seconds). Below it, we get singularities (black holes, the initial Big-Bang, etc).
See GoldenNumber . net for much more on phi and the golden ratio. That site is the original source for a number of the images in this video that show the golden ratio proportions.
obviously many people like this vid, as do i, but if just enough people disliked it, say for the music or whatever, we could get a very interesting situation going on the ratio between green and red on the likes-dislikes-metre:p
For those who merely write that this video does not explain how this mechanism works, I suggest browsing through the countless other videos on YT... This video simply demonstrates examples of 1.618 and admires it. I find it refreshing. Videos who attempt to explain 'Divine Proportion' tend to go beyond the math and mechs; They'll tend to veer towards God and Religion. Nature's Architectural template is a remarkable discovery, but how is it proof of God? Nature too, has to follow laws of science

I wonder if this anamoly, consciously or unconsciously, played a role in the conceptualization of Superman's modern 'S'-shield?

Great video but the music is very distracting - try classical next time - good for concentration especially when pondering on sacred geometry.

@Zer0sHere
Pi = π = 3.14......'infinity'
Phi = Φ = 1.618...'infinity'
*Both are considered numerical values with which the more decimal places you use in your equation, the more accurate your result shall be.
