  • Can-can was awesome!!! :D

  • HÉy_AnÿøÑE_wÁñÑÁ_chÄt_wìth_mÊ_i_fèél_sÒ_lÓNÉlÿ_tôday*

  • I would really like the lyrics.

  • Good humor never gets dated!

  • 0:31... I think I died <3

  • Oh How badly I wish they had home video cameras back then. I would love to see a clip of them at a club when they were first starting back when they were still best buds. Those of us who were too young to be there for history are really missing out I bet. Even towards they end they were comedic gold.

  • @Heavensburden omg that would be SO AWESOME. i've looked everywhere for some videos of their club acts but like you said, there is none :(

  • jerry lewis looks like andy sandberg in here but with a smaller nose

  • Hey could you posibly give me the lyrics too??

  • "wait, wait, OH wait!!!"

  • @Hadeydeppio I love the sound Jerry makes at 3:00 lol

  • @lotsandlotsofbubbles LOL. i think the french love him so much because of his impersonations of them. they're so hilarious haha!

  • @Hadeydeppio i know, he does the best french impersonations !

  • Jerry was always at his best comedic standing when he was with Dean. xD Those two made the perfect comedy duo. I mean like you got Jerry and his crazy self always going over the top and then Dean's there to sort of sober him up but it's always hilarious when Dean gets pulled into Jerry's antics himself. xD Those are the best times. haha Together they have to be the funniest people to have ever preformed.

  • This beats out commercials of today any day.

  • does anyone know where i can find the video of jerry lewis opening the telegram and is asked to host the mda telethon. he was asked on the colgate comedy hour. if anyone can find it can you pplease tel me the title of the clip thank you.

  • So much talent!

  • god, if i laugh any more my face is gonna crack open. <3 u Dean & Jerry!!

  • Paris is so Gay lol! I Just love ´em!

  • i guess 11 people don't like Europe

  • Dean's voice is amazing. I don't know why, but I love the way he sings "Ireland" in the beginning :)

  • Somewhere between 00:00 and 04:38 I lost conscious. So much laughter, so unhealthy for the stomach.

  • @TheCrackedBrick Pahahahahahaha!!!!!

  • Wonderful memories of my youth.....

    Aitch,

  • altra bella coppia del cinema americano

  • this was real comedy that expanded every where, i was a kid in Brazil and Jerry and Dean was a sold out in theaters, tv was a must see, every member of a family was there watching, today pornographic, racist, and many other type of comedy did destroyed the good times,, this is sad.

  • What year is this video from?

  • @ViableCalifornia i think its 1946

  • @tussler21557

Nah, it has to be sometime between 1950-55. Those are the years the Colgate show spanned. I'm not sure on the exact date of this episode's airing, though.

  • @igvmyslf1000pts it was in the 1930's because dean and jerry split up in 1946

  • @supermario425

No, they didn't. They split in '56. '46 is when they formed their partnership. In the 1930s, Jerry Lewis would have been in his teens.

  • @igvmyslf1000pts my bad. i screwed up. also if dean was as old as jerry said then he wouldn't look that diffferent. ^.^

  • @supermario425

Dean was nearly a decade older than Jerry.

  • @supermario425 no they been together in 1946 and split up in 1956 you cant go see in google :)

  • Thank You Mr. Jerry Lewis and Mr. Dean Martin - You are the best men of comedy - for ever! An "A-Team" to help our mankind!

  • @Zorbasrhodos Dean Martain was a hollow man....It was the shame...No friends ever in his life.

  • I love how dean falls at :38. really add's effect to jer's AAAAAAAAAIIIIIIIEEEEEE. :D

  • didn't know dean martin was so funny! :)

  • God this makes me so sad knowing what they later went through when Dean started resenting Jerry. It's so sad :(

  • Would someone send me the lyrics to this?

  • I find Jerry Lewis to be really irritating. I feel the same way about Robin Williams.

  • oh how i wish i had been alive then!

  • It's a braw bricht moonlicht nicht - and a happy Pesach too!

  • This is the first eps. I ever saw, and I've been hooked ever since! LOVE THESE BOYS!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Where's the episode where Dean Martin goes crazy because he see's Jerry everywhere, and Dean goes nuts? Also, I think Jerry dresses like a woman on that video. Please someone! HELP! I know I saw it on here somewhere!!

  • "AAAAAAAAAAAAH then we took the boat to scotland!" LOLZZ Jerry's HILARIOUS!

  • Wonder if the low life celebrities of today can provide such great entertainment....probably not!

  • at 4:37 so unexpededly funny Y idk its Jerry Lewis I LOVE him so much-Him and Dean were the PERFECT team:)

  • @A10N3L3FT2D13 oops i meant 00:37

  • Its a pity , all those films from the 50's are all rotting in their storages. Why don't entertainment agencies bring them out? People think that the 50's is boring. The best time in American entertainment history is found in the 40'4, 50's and early 60's. The trash of thelater decades is nothing compared to those times.

  • no one could have said it better.

  • i loved the big finale

  • my friend and I did this as a skit for school, i was jerry and she was Dean, and you wouldn't believe all the laughs we got from all ages from the kids to the parents to the elderly folk! ah they want us to do an encore this wed. hopfully it will go as good or even better as the last one

  • @TheStooge52 Did they video it? I wanna seeeeee!!!

  • @TheStooge52 did you lip synch it or you actually sang it with a band?

  • @supermario425 sang it.

  • @TheStooge52 then you my friend are my hero!

  • @supermario425 if you want i can give you the lyrics :)

  • @TheStooge52 YESSSS!!!

  • @TheStooge52 Can you please give me the lyrics too???

  • @TheStooge52 did u do it for like a talent contest...?

  • awesommmeee cant stop laughing

  • brilliant

  • wow i never thought anything from the 50s would actually be funny. i watched a documentary about this with jerry lewis and i cracked up

  • What is the name of this documentary show you saw?

  • dean martin and jerry lewis their golden age of comedy. its a three part set on tape

  • fing briliant

  • Probably early 50's

  • I think why these guys were so huge was the chemistry they had onstage. Jerry could do the wackiest thing ever, and Dean would play it as true as it could ever be done. Try switching out either one, plug someone else in, and see if the routines work. I highly doubt it.

  • How the hell did Dean keep his composure when Jerry hit that high pitch tone of the song. I would have busted out laughing if he did that next to me

  • saw this in drama today just had to search

  • I love ya Jerry !!! C u in vegas this fall bud!!!! Dean was amzingly funny too !!! They r the best thing in comedy still to this day !!

  • zwei unvergessene stars im duett

    A+

    thats showbusiness,

today most of our stars are not talented

  • jerry is/was a class act

  • what year?

  • '42? '44?

  • lol I love them! I have alot of these DVDS they're great! =)

  • Do they say; Brussels : Eiffel???

Cause the Eiffel tower is in Paris, Brussels you have the Atomium..

  • They say; Brussels: artful.

  • can't stop watching this xD!

  • I was born in the wrong era. This is funnier than anything we have nowadays.

  • jepp, you´re right

  • @EleanoreFFMcCann

    same here

  • @EleanoreFFMcCann BY FAR! well, theres always C-span...

  • hey @EleanoreFFMcCann ,

    you're right!

  • @EleanoreFFMcCann A-fucking-men.

  • @EleanoreFFMcCann I feel the exact same way.

  • @EleanoreFFMcCann I disagree. There are shows such as QI with people like Stephen Fry that are actually funny

  • @EleanoreFFMcCann Even if you feel down, watching Jerry for ten minutes is sure to have you in stitches

  • @EleanoreFFMcCann how pretentious

  • @marcsman229 I don't understand how that is pretentious. Just a matter of opinion really.

  • It's Dean Martin that makes Jerry Lewis seem funny.

  • Well, Jerry Lewis has his moments, but I think if you compare the two head to head, throughout their careers, Dean Martin was considerably funnier and more witty than Jerry.

  • If you've not seen them, you have to see four of Lewis's movies before saying that: The Errand Boy, Cinderfella, The Bellboy (one of the funniest movies I've ever seen), and The Nutty Professor.

    They are simply hilarious.

  • bellisismooooooo filmmmmmm ^^

  • tv sure ain't what it used to be....if i you could turn back the hands of time.

  • When they're acting French and they see the girl walk by, Jerry's face and voice make me laugh so hard!! Plus I love his Scottish accent, I'll bet that's where Robin Williams got his for Mrs. Doubtfire

  • is dean martin not the most handsome man ever!

  • I know!!! he was the epitome of "Tall dark and handsome"... I looove him so much!!

  • yes! omg hes the hotest cutest sexiest most handsome man ever :P!!!!

  • gotta love 'em. classic comedy team. never knew they could sing and dance, just means they deserve that much more credit. classic. nice post.

  • And all in one take. Dang!

  • A great team Benificial for them both. Great entertainment for all. Those with eyes to see and ears to hear. Bless them both.

  • So great to see the boys one more time. Thank you most sincerely for posting.

  • i LOVE THESE GUYS. jERRY IS MORE HOT THOUGH

  • Dean plays the best straight man. there an incredible team, such balance!

  • what year is this?

  • i dunno but if its any of their early work together like I would guess then it should be the late 1940's

  • September 10, 1950

  • These Two are Genius.

  • I agree with nabigongju.

  • Does anybody know where I can get this on DVD? This exact episode? There's so many of them that I can't figure out which one it is:)!

There will never again be a duo with such magnetism as these two.

  • thanks so much for uploading these... i sometimes think that america is forgetting about great comedy like this...

  • @nabigongju America has forgotten a lot more than just it's comedy sadly...

  • Clearly, Paul Reubens was copying Jerry Lewis in his Pee Wee Herman character.

  • I agree

  • Talleho, Talleho...We're back, don't you know? Blimey, Crikey, Balderdash !

  • I can't stop watching this!

  • Ow......I love this video, I love this song, and I love Jerry!!! He's the best!!

  • Bar none, the best comedy duo in history.

  • with bing crosby and bob hope right BEHIND them!

  • Some would say that Jerry didn't have a singing voice, but I love their harmony and always have. It is so unique and so well fitted.

  • they are unbeliveable !!!!!!!

  • dean and jerry were amazing togethr. i miss them

  • Happy birthday Jerry!

  • These boys are simply wonderful; so funny, and very cute. Thanx so much. <3x

  • What can one say? Wonderful.

  • Thank you, I'm having a blast.

  • damn... both are so freaking funny! love them!

  • jerry is so fun!

  • oh i wish i was alive back then...didn't show up to the party till 1990...a little late...

  • You and me both.

I would like to have been born 70 years before I actually was :|

  • Nah.. think about it... you wouldn't have been able to download Dean Martin on the internet back then.

  • they sing "..Paris is so gay..."????

  • 'Gay' didn't used to mean what it means now. It meant bright, showy, happy, exciting, etc.
