I'm currently hovering at the #1 / #2 rank for T. hawk on XBL.

His t. hawk was mediocre. Poongko stomped him. He missed a lot of EX-Spire opportunities which would've set him up for LP SPD mixups. He did a lot of random dives which are fully punishable by heavy MGK.

used a lot of unsafe splashes on wakeup, aka he played too wreckless and that's why he lost the match.

What I'm saying is that from a analytical standpoint, he missed a lot of setup opportunities and some really bad reads. Would I have beaten poongko? Probably not, but I'm trying to tell people that this isn't the END ALL OF hawks. He didn't play him to the potential that t. hawk has against seth.

As a PSN Hawk myself, and not a bad one, I can say Billy played this very well. Great defense (key to a good Hawk) and I didn't see a single random action. However, with Hawk you gotta make sure you finish in 2 games, as your opponent will usually adapt the third game, especially one like Poongko. And knowing you were so close, can also mess up your head...

Wow. It's amazing how folks can't understand the concept of doing moves during block and hitstun. You simply don't know how to play if you just sit there blocking assuming folks will perfectly time everything. Get a clue. Whoever taught you to do that isn't a higher level player. Coupled with the fact that he was obviously holding down back when he was hit w/ the first overhead, managed 2 block the proceeding cross up, THEN get the Ultra out before being interrupted by Seth's c.short. Whew! LOL@ thinking he was mashing. Nothing but smart play the entire match.

Leave the tournaments to the pro's, and go back 2 mashin SRK online. Kudos 2 Billy
