  • WO i Want this Tell me how i can set it up so i can do this when my friends r over.

  • Good Use of 200$. Medium, i presume?

  • Can u set it to flicker with the beat of the song. Or is it just cawink-a-dink that its on beat / Do u have a fogger it loos like u do but I don't see where it says u do in the prescription

  • i like how they are sound sensitive, how much it all cost

  • I got the Reflex LED for $130 on sale, the ColorSplash Jr. for $80 (but they can be found for less), the fog machine for $40, and the stand for about $60.

  • what song was that what you was playing?

  • chop suey (on toxicity album) by system of a down? and i listen to rap... lol

  • did you buy 2 stage lights or like does only one light do all of that?

  • The beams are coming from one light (the Reflex LED). It's basically built like two lights stuck together, though.

There is another light, but all it does is cycle through some colors. Most of the effect here is coming from the Reflex. :)

  • Sweet video i gotta make a new video and bring out my 4 intimidator's hti with the Vue 3

  • i proably sound like a total noob saying this but is this the stage kit, if so is it worth it?

  • i think im gonna stick with the stage kit because it will have lights accorcing to the song ur playing

  • holy shit dude, things gonna get a lot better. Just ordered the ion drum rocker!! i said fuck it, people like us get into this shit!! I'll keep ya posted and shoot a vid when we get it.

  • Yo, i bought the reflex led! Now some advice on room placement. its kinda foggy so I cant see if yours is against wall? it looks as if its a lil ahead and to your left??

  • Grats, I know you'll enjoy it! :)

I have it hanging from a light stand, front and to the left. It's just above eye level, angled about 30-40 degrees down and into the room. It takes some adjusting to get the best angle where it won't shine in anyone's eyes or right on the screen. The corner where I have it is pretty cramped and no one can get there anyway, so it made for a good place to put it.

Be sure to post some video when you get it all set up! :)

  • First thing this made me think of was Clerks 2 and Kinky Kelly and The Sexy Stud

  • LOL

  • Thx for answer first off. Now I'm doing serious research--do you know anything about

american dj dual gem led? It looks awesome. Also --big thx for telling me that the one i was looking at has to turned off-or whatever you said-every 10 min--that sucks.

  • and by the way --medium looks mad easy!!

  • Yeah, it is, but that seems to be the case with a lot of the DLC tracks. Medium is too easy but I can't quite step it up to hard yet. :)

  • What I do is play the easiest Expert Song over and over then go to hard. Hard becomes easier. Works for me anyway

  • question for you bro--or maybe some advice-- did you have to program that lightset to go nuts as the music changes or does it do that on its own? and can you tell me the name and brand of that set cause it looks freakin awesome.

    thx

  • It's an American DJ Reflex LED. It's a great plug-and-play light. You just connect it to power and it syncs itself to the music (it has a built-in mic). There's nothing to adjust or anything.

  • Check out guitar center--they have an all in one light set/fog mach for $199. It has a strobe, the circle, and the beams, and fog machine--talk about bugging out!!

  • Back when I was looking at lights at first, I checked those out. The problem is the fogger was too small for my needs and all of the lights in the kit had duty cycles, i.e., you have to cycle them on / off every 10 minutes or so to keep them from overheating. It's convenient if you need something quick and dirty but I was really buying with the future in mind.

  • *pwns you for playing on medium*

seriously though, this is awesome! I think this might have convinced me to get the stage kit. If I like it enough, who knows, maybe I'll upgrade!

  • THANKS !!! There goes another 150 bucks i have to spend now !

We already use a ADJ fog 700 , chauvet color bank and mini mace , never really cared for the mini mace, runs very hot and bulbs are pricey. Gonna have to pick up on of those up for our RB parties. Thanks for sharing.

  • Yeah, those halogen lights are HOT. I had a Kinta for about 3 days and decided I'd be running all LEDs from then on. Even after a whole night running, the Reflex is still room temperature.

  • Awesome!
