do u get data on this phone??????????????????????? HELP I NEED TO KNOW i want a sidekick but also NEED data and someone told me there is no more data for it
@dailyfriedchicken64 Sorry there is no way to get data on the ID. It only uses the Sidekick Data plan and since only T-Mobile has that it wont have data usage on any other carriers. I doubt T-Mobile still has a Sidekick Data plan anymore.
So you bought the phone unlocked? A friend of mine gave me his and it wont unlock I did the same thing for the Sidekick 3 LX and the Slide those work with the Sim center and network options, i did it with the ID and it only unlocked calling =( lol so i should buy an unlocked one right?
@8zero8Pictures have you tried hitting menu + L together and letting go? it can take a few tries. Sidekicks like im sure you know have/had there own data plan you had to have to use the phone, the menu+L trick lets you get around it and only send texts and make phone calls. If you have tried it than ya you should try and find a unlocked on ebay. Oh and yes my sidekick was unlocked when it was shipped to me, i dont know how to unlock them though.
You can get normal tmobile web on here not that web they had before lady from tmobile told me if it's a tmobile phone then web well work
