I like the fact that this guy is a tremendous musician. Even with the success he had with Creed he continued to learn and grow as a guitarist. And he just seems like a regular old nice guy. Nice to see that type of person have success.

As a fan of Jeff Loomis, Chris Broderick, John Petrucci, and other "progressive" guitarists, I definitely have to say Mark Tremonti is one of my personal favorites. This guy is absolutely one of the most underrated guitarists out there in the "best guitarist ever" sense. Great influence, great playing. Keep it up, Mark! (And by the way, Alter Bridge > Creed)

This guy is my biggest guitar idol. Before I die, I will see Alter Bridge in concert and i will meet him, hopefully both of those more than once XD I dont look up to anyone musically more than him

@xRAZORBACK1692x same! i would be awesome to meet him and go to his concert. it would truly be an honor. i've listened to him for 4 years and he has been my idol since. there is no better guitarist/songwriter nowadays, truly amazing guitarist and an inspiration to all the guitarists that have the guts to admit and respect his material. im just speechless of how great he is. Thx Mark for great music.

@xRAZORBACK1692x I feel the same exact same way. I don't have any idols. But Mark is the one guitarist that I study and love. I grew up listening to Creed ever since i was born. When they broke up i was heart broken. But then Alter Bridge came out and I was like.. Those are the guys from Creed!! And now Alter Bridge is my favorite band. Lol. I give Mark all the credit for me becoming a guitarist.

He's so awesome :) he inspired me to start playing guitar before creed broke up. i love their old songs a whole lot better than their new songs, but they are still great, just kind of different.

@KocoaButterfly I agree. Creed really turned me on to the guitar. That is my favorite band and still is along with AB. I've met AB and they are the most down to earth guys you could ever meet. Mark is a very humble individual which inspires me even more. He just has his own unique style that I love.
