  • I wrote a song that is close to this....

  • I have nothing but the highest praises for her to do this performance. It is so hard to perform a song like that, and hold yourself together when your heart is breaking. I had to go and perform once maybe 7 minutes before I had received a call that two of my best friends had died. I was fine until I did my 3rd song. Part of the 2nd verse was, "if tomorrow never comes the love I have for you will keep you with me." After that part I lost it and finished the song in tears.

  • This is one of my favorites by Reba. *****

  • Today, March 16th, 2011, is the 20th anniversary of the sad tragedy that claimed the lives of 8 members of Reba's band in 1991. May they be at rest!

  • Remembering the "Crazy 8" today, their families and all of Reba's Starstruck family. Reba they would be so proud of where you are today.

  • 20 years ago today! wow.

  • Wow, made me tear a bit, and I did not read the comments first. Why is she so said, I wondered, why is she crying (almost all of it, inside, right from the beginning)? Then I read the comments.

  • beautiful

  • I love this song along with all of Reba's music...she is truly a legend.

  • goose bumps amazing thanks

  • I can't believe she sang this song and held it all together without choking up till the very end! I applaud her for singing despite loosing her band in a terrible accident. I love her music so much!

  • nice thx for upload :)

  • @rickeydee09 Agreed (:

  • The shrug at the end kills me.....as if she needed to apologize for that beautiful, courageous performance.

I was a head-banging 80's metalhead when I saw Reba at the Michigan Festival. Never would have gone, but one ticket got you 7 nights of live music, so I figured what the hell....and the show blew me away.

    Thank you, ma'am.

  • This video is so emotional....I cry everytime I see and listen to this song...it helps me to remember my dad...he passed in 2008...I love and miss him very much. The song took on a new meaning for me that year!

  • Still love this, always, reba is the #1 female artist!

  • I was at a concert right before the band was killed, I cry everytim I watch this. love it, thanks for sharing

  • GORGEOUS! The plane crash was March 1991, this is Oct or Nov 1991. She sang on the Oscars 9 days after the crash, but I doubt she had many TV performances between then and this one. I love Reba for all the emotion in her voice in everything she sings. You can see her tear up at the end and yet she still manages to sing. I've tried to sing when I was crying and could barely make a sound, let alone beautiful sounds like these!

  • awww!!! I don't like seeing her cry

  • My Wife left me Oct 28 2009 and this song represented my pain. Lots of prayer and help from friends got me through the tears. The world didn't stop for my broken heart, Goodbye Kay I will always cherish the time we shared.

  • She is the BEST singer she sings everything so heart felt!!!!!

  • I love Reba so much! She's such a role model for me! I'm a Contralto, and some songs I can sound just like her. I feel so much like diving into the screen and hugging her when she "loses it" at the end. Shows how much she cares when she kind of mouths a "sorry" to the crowd.

  • @rickeydee09 Yea, it breaks my heart just seeing her cry like that!!!

    I feel her pain

  • I know how it is to loos some one close... so I cant imagen how it is to loos so many loved ones at the same time... But shi was so stong and came through it beautifully. Love her so much. I lisen to her music every day. Love you Reba <3

  • Thank you Reba, for this Album, it healed my heart from the loss of my daughter, Nancy, on 05/18/1978, 13 yrs later, but I did not even start to heal until I heard these songs!!

  • Wow. The ending- SOB! Loves. G-d bless her.

  • I just want to give her a hug because she went through a tough time! I can't imagine going through the same thing she went through!

  • I wish that she wouldn't choose sad songs! It just makes me emotional!! But it expresses her loss of her band members. I respect that. love her music!

  • @rickeydee09 Me too! Just tears me up to see Reba cry!!

  • I totally learn something from Reba all the time! She's one of my hero's!!!

  • yes at the end. she had just lost her family on the road. she considered the 8 people that died her family. this was her first performances after their death.

  • correct me if i am wrong but this was not only in the same day, it was literally days after she lost her band

  • it hurts to watch this after you now all she'd been through before she sang it

  • I love Reba! She said in an interview after this that when she was asked to sing this at the award show, she felt the spirits of the band members she lost telling her that they were ok where they were and that they wanted her to perform the song for them. I started crying watching this. This proves that she is a true survivor and a strong, beautiful and wonderful woman. She is my hero!!!

  • actually you are thinking of the time she was asked to sing "i'm checking out" at the academy awards show. she sang that song for meryl streep since she was 8 1/2 months pregnant. that is when she felt the presence of her band members telling her that it was ok for her to perform.

  • I can only hope to be as strong as her. She is simply amazing. She is my hero my idol. Love ya Reba!!! Thx for all you do for all of us!!!

  • mhm. this is very sad. I can't believe she's so strong. Love reba she is the best.
