  • The board game is a great idea.

  • wow you are sooo amazing at these arts and crafts

  • HA is this my christmas present?!! lol love it, great job!

  • @lemonsoothers You know it lol.

  • i like your videos

  • You are the man!!

  • Any tips on what to put it in when you are done? I havve my board game but I don't know how to get a box the right size.

  • @Madikinz123 With this simple design, you can just roll it up and put an elastic around it. If your game is thicker, you can make a simple box out of single corrugated cardboard. Store your game in a dry low moisture area and it should last.

  • Awesome, do Kathy love it?

  • @aryffa2001 Thank you Kathy :D

  • Awesome

  • You can make a game for ZERO cents. Make it a pencil-and-paper game! They're always fun. I made one that I just love and it can even go for multi-players.

  • m ake it on the internet

  • what if i due seven small letters

  • @Crafterizer It`s up to you. Make as many or little letters on it as you want - it is your game :D

  • to exspensive joke XD

  • buy some board, make a game in any paint program on your computer. set your print size to 3x the size of a sheet of paper. It will print it on 9 sheets in sections. cut out your sections. tape them together (edge to edge) perfectly with 3 inch scotch tape. put glue on your board. place the taped sheets on the board, rub firmly. afterwards, run scotch tape over the whole board for a shiney gloss look . the tape edge isnt visible. You now have a PROFESSIONAL looking board.

  • @Ravalat Thanks for the suggestion - but that process does not guarantee a professional looking product. Increasing the image size of a file will degrade the image and pixel quality unless you already had the dpi at like 400 or more. Cutting the margins off of the sheets takes precision, but can be done with a paper cutter. Gluing is the tricky part and takes practice. Spray glue is best to use - regular glue will bubble and get lumpy in time. Scotch tape? Well, to each their own. Cheers

  • @Homemadegameguru Ill have to link you a picture of one that i made. They turn out really nice.. and yes the DPI setting of the picture must be pretty big. the rest isn't as hard as you think it is though ;). did it perfect on my first try.

  • I MADE A CERAL BOX BOARD GAME WHEN I WAS IN JUNIOR HIGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @OHEYashleyy AMAZING, REALLY.

  • 1 person was to cheap to buy a bristal board!

  • @icecreamlover22 It's hard to see in the video, but yes, there are directional arrows. Some spaces will be landed on twice. For the 'K' as an example, a player doesn't have to move to the top of the letter, but I put a special extra point space at the top to tempt players to do the extra moves. It is up to the designer to make those extra spaces appealing. Hope that answers your question. Cheers

  • Thank you soooooo much !

  • about a year ago I was crazy about mario party so I made a HUGE board and after i finished it... i kinda got over it. now its just is taking up space and i really dont want to throw it away... the thing is i have no idea what to make of it it took mee a month to make and the spaces are blank so you can do almost anything with it. do you have any ideas?

  • @ilikrandomness You don't want to have such a big useful board go to waste. My suggestion is to find another subject to make the game about. What else do you like or find interest in? A board game can be about anything really - you decide what makes a good game. Just think about it and I'm sure you will figure something out. Cheers

  • @ilikrandomness or u could just sell it on ebay!

  • You are very talented and are a nice guy.

  • same here lol but i chose the board game and its due like tomorrow lol

  • is bristol board hard like a real board from a board game?

  • Single bristol board is not as strong or thick as board game chipboard, but it can be done simply by layering. I have made sturdy board games simply by gluing three or four bristol boards together and using an exacto knife to cut out the board shape. Once the glue is set and the board cut out, its just as strong and hard as chipboard. Cheers

  • thanks.

  • u have skillz, omg thank you

  • I'm glad you liked it. Cheers

  • i need a board game for school that is realy good is this a good idea. great vid tho

Awesome game! I love how you used her name as the game setup thinger.

You should make a "Haley" game.

It would sell fast in stores, you'd be a millionaire!

    -Haley

  • very creative and pretty simple. nioce

  • Woah, that was cool. I am already making a version of some kind of Risk, I have [lanned my details, map and all that. Now, all I need is dice, characters and cards. I am trying my rough-draft now, and this may be a selling product. I just need the licesnse and approval and premission from Rockstar North. (a gaming company)

  • Screw licensing and all that - just put your mind towards making a game that is all you. Risk (which is owned by Hasbro/Milton Bradley) was created by one guy with an idea. Do your thang and make a moneymaker!

  • I used to make my own home made board games too. Except I used to destroy an already existing game usually. But one time I just used a GIANT piece of cardboard and colored the whole board and added pictures and things, and also made the game pieces to go with it. I was always creative and had so many thoughts going through my mind.

  • That is the best way to really utilize your creativity. We are indeed alike.

  • Informative and great idea for people to do this project.

    5*VID!

  • thanks you :-)

  • Classic. You just gave me an idea!

  • I'm happy I have help in some way. Just mail the royalty cheque to me ;-)

  • thank you for the compliment. i hope you enjoy it

  • This is really GREAT! So timely in this economy.
