Tool & Die Shop Improvement Level 1

I own a small tooling shop and I have an advantage in this area.I do most all the hands on work and auto cad designs thats when I start planning the entire project.I also do as much of the die block in one set up as possible.

I'm just wondering how much time and money was spent making this video to quantify the Manufacturing of tools and dies - one would think the supervisor, foreman or lead die maker would know this...... common sense. or learned skill?

My husband is a tool and die maker. However, he does all of this. This is for a union or large shop. He is machinist and die maker. This is a great video to show waste. I would hope you could do some with more hands on smaller shops. His shop is very wasteful. Not only with this process but others. Great work though.
