You bring up very good points about using profanity in other languages. What you mentioned about the words sounding worse when spoken by a non-native speaker is very true.

do you not think it is weird how "easy" or easier it is to learn curse words in a foreign language as opposed to the actual less offensive words? eg I'm English and live in china yet am strangely excited when i hear a new offensive phrase. i need to grow up!
