She looks about 2 or 3 years old and yet the reporter says she was left in the street for ten minutes before that lady moved her to the side of the road .... I haven't seen or heard anyone ask why she was in the street by herself? Its easy to be distracted from watching your baby for a minute or two, but TEN MINUTES???? In-case anyone was wondering, the woman that stopped to help the child has been chased out of the town, and fears for her life. Why? The villagers claim it's because she was seeking fame, but we know that it is because they are ashamed that the world has seen their cruelty.
I can understand the outrage this has caused and agree that it is a major tragedy, but to say an entire race is evil or bad because of this is ludicrous. People could have helped that little girl, but someone somewhere could have pointed a finger saying it was them that did it, thus causing trouble for someone that didn't do it.

This happened because China's environment is like free for all type, they only care for them selves and their family. Although it may look selfish but it can't be helped since they need to do that to get through in those poor conditions they have right now. People could have helped that little girl, but someone somewhere could have pointed a finger saying it was them that did it, thus causing trouble for someone that didn't do it.

obviously most of you do not know the situation. Chinese people are more than often scared of doing things that do not concern them. They are afraid of getting involved in things unlike people in the Western world. The passerbys simply do not want to get involved in the incident. These accidents happen in all over the world even in the most moral countries, difference is this is cauught on tape. Don't generalise a society on an accident which is present in most countries.

I'd doubt 90% of the people watching this video would. I'm in 4th year psycology in uni, and theres something called the bystander effect. where the more people there are present during an accident, the less likely anyone is going to help. SUre you can talk like a would-be hero online but i'd bet u wouldnt do shit in that situation.

part 1 - it's been said that the Communist Chinese government has always been giving harsh punishment for anyone who try to help their neighbors in anyway. To stay out of troubles, the inland Chinese are supposed to only mind their own business. It is in fact one of the practices the Communist Chinese government use to prevent their people to get together and uprise against the government.

The only thing one of them had to do was to make an anonymous call to the paramedics if they didn't want to be "involved". That's it. I'm not judging the entire nation, but the people shown in the video (except for the lady that saved the girl) are sick fucks and deserve to be executed.

It is totally inhumane to live by those communist rules. Enough is enough. Yes, accidents like this may happen all over the world even in the most moral countries. I need to hear positive things about that race, for the eyes & souls of the rest of the world have been sickened by this tragedy. A society is judged in part in how it looks after their own people. This happened because China's environment is like free for all type, they only care for them selves and their family. Although it may look selfish but it can't be helped since they need to do that to get through in those poor conditions they have right now. This doesn't just happen in China, it happens almost everywhere in the world so don't just generalise that only China is horrible. Not everyone is!

I know the trash lady put her on the sidewalk but she didn't help her at all. If she wanted to help her she would've rush her to the hospital. She just moved the kid but again it didn't help the kid at all.

You guys, the toddler wondered off alone. The mother had no idea that she had left. And if it were my child, I'd be thankful for anybody who at least made an attempt to do something. How the hell can you see a baby girl lying in the road, bleeding and NOT do anything?!?! That's just inhumane!
