a friend of us called gary pimiento organized a similar one in a public place in downtown buenos aires in 1999. you had to take your walkmans and discmans and there were piles of three different dj sets on tape and cd to listen to. it was a silent rave and the dancfloor was naturaly made of autumn red flower fallen from a jacaranda tree.
