I love seeing that other nationalities can pronounce some Icelandic words, even with an accent. I live in Norway, and nobody can pronounce my name correctly even after I have said it dozens of times to try and make them improve. You tackled much more complicated things, and you're Semetic - Norwegian is Germanic like Icelandic!
