My video that was composed in 3 excerpts of the whole movie, was deleted due to copyright ingringement. Why yours is still here, I'm bugging you just to seek an information?
I got a DVD ripper and encoder software lets me "lift" the video off the DVD (I use the Russian release DVD because it's not copy-protected) and convert it into a quicktime movie. Then I import it to Final Cut Pro and edit it there.
Is there any other way that someone could possibly rip DVDs off onto a computer to manipulate, without the seemingly advanced software. The only thing I have that you mentioned, i think, is Final Cut Pro.
You have a mac, right? I suggest purchasing/downloading "Mac the Ripper" and "Popcorn" or "Toast" instead of popcorn. I was told "Toast" is much better, so I bought it.
Tsk, tsk, tsk! You should very well know there is NO such thing as a Broadway Cast Recording of "Sunset Boulevard!" Just the Los Angeles Recording! LOL... But nit picking aside, no, it's from the German Cast Recording.
"Sunset Boulevard's" cast recordings are so bipolar... The original London Cast Recording and the Los Angeles Cast Recordings are both flowed in different ways... The Canadian Cast Recording suffers from shoddy production values (though the ensemble pieces are very well orchestrated.) The only cast recording I think is the closest to being perfect is the German one, though, like the Canadian one, it's only a highlights album. And Helen Schneider is GODDESS!!!
I don't live in Germany, but I love sound of German vocals. I don't know why. I have been looking for a couple of cheap German recordings of musicals, but haven't been lucky yet.
good job matching important moments with the music :)

Oh, I see. That sounds difficult???

Nowhere near as difficult as it may seem from reading my convoluted explanation, LOL.

I know!!! It sounded really complex...LOL.

By the way, you'll NEVER guess where the "car chase" music comes from! =P

I don't know but I want to guess the original Broadway Cast Recording CD. I have that CD and it sounds a lot like it's version.

Oh crap, I forgot. I don't have my CD on me. I always buy OBCR or OAR or first production CD. I find they are usually better.
The German Cast Recording. Wow, that's cool.

There are clips of her singing in the show, look it up.

I Will. Where did you even buy the German Album?
Feareous 3 years ago
LOL, a friend let me copy it. The real thing goes from 65 dollars to somewhere over 100! I can email you some mp3's later if you want.

CHEAP German cast recording?!?! Are you joking? PM me your email. :)
Did you look up Helen Schneider, Sunset Boulevard yet? Do so!

What is your favorite song from Sunset Boulevard, or better yet, your favorite lyric?
Feareous 3 years ago
I gotta admit, I'm a stickler for "Salome." Especially "They drag the Baptist up from the jails/She dances the dance of the seven veils!"
emlodik 3 years ago
I like Salome, but I am particularly partial to the final sequence: "Leave all my things have you gone mad,/Leave all these things I've never had!"
