If arguments such as this Sarkozy guy's find many followers, it will eventually have an effect on the counter camp and this will be nothing but beneficial for the weapon manufacturers. The manufacturers who hold this Sarkozy's collar, allowing him to bark for their profit. "Creating destabilisation" the riots in the France's streets not long ago are not a coincidence perhaps.

European states MUST check their curriculum and remove the racist, hate remarks asgainst Turks and Islam from their education system. Otherwise unfortunately we are be bound to see more Hitlers. In fact we've already seen just 15 years ago in Serbia under the name of " Milosevic" the butcher. Islamophobia and anti-Turkic education system throughout many states in Europe is a shame for the human kind in 21st century.

I hate the lack of telling Islamic countries. Turkey should join the EU, that's not going to work. Turkey finds it hard to separate politics from religion. We don't want to become a army union. They've got a army to seperate that, here in Europe we don't. We are western, Turkey pretents to be. Without the Turkish army they would go for sharia, because of Islam. Islam is a political ideology, when you have 99% of muslims in a country, than it's wise to have agreements but no joining the EU.

@Brulluhman Yes, and because of the free press, you have been able to learn about these arrests. A considerable size in the public opinion are against the arrests, and make it known by the medium. The irony is the acussations for these journalists was "to be perpetrators of a military coup". Reading the statement of yours downbelow about Turkey being a militarist state you should be cheering for the government policies for arrests eh. Something does not fit in this picture you draw.

@TheKaratepe Thought Bosnians were fighting from the save areas against Serbs. That's why they got fought back. It's more that muslims claim that they never did anything. Those so called mass graves that were found, were from the Ottoman empire, done by muslims. Turkey can't even acknowledge the fact that they slaughtered so many Armenian. Let's talk about now. Freedoms in Turkey are limited and it's a backward country. That grain of sand that is in Europe, should be the reason to join the EU??
