i almsot caught one bigger than that i am trying tmrw the firs time he snapped the line the 2nd time he jumped off i was using roast beef he would come up every once in awhile and hiss at me and stare at me i got real scared i grabbed a big long stick and felt the bottom then pegged a rock in. im gonna get him tmrw
@TEADRINKA i caught a big one like this and i would catch a blue gill or another small fish hook through the bottom lip so he is still alive and then have him just swim around we waited about 20 minutes then we started seeing bubbles coming towards and we say the hook and the hook didnt go through the skin it is to think we figure and we netted quick that is just my way of catching it i am sure there r many different ways out there
bout when i was 9, 10 years old... i was night fishing with a dead bluegill, kuz we put a hook somewhere in the blue gill n we go inside our cabin n we come out every once in a while to check if we have nything... i get a massive, 25 inch snapping turtle, weighing 40 lbs, its waqy in the middle of the lake, were reeling it in, takes like 15 mins to get in, and we finally get it in, grab it by the tail, and put it on our dock, our dog falls in the water and then the turtle falls in the water.

That was a big one. We catch them every once in a while at the river. I cought one last year that broke 30 pound test with ease.
