  • thats nothing its just a bunch of gear just sayin

  • lxf file?

  • @jhsevs

sorry, I have no lxf file.

  • What sets can you get those from?

  • @jmbrinks01

    Thanks, jmbrinks01.

The motor, battery case and switch are from LEGO 8293 Power Functions Motor Set. The yellow parts are from the set which I was building when I made this video, but I cannot remember the set number. And the gears, shafts and other parts are from my stock parts, they are mainly from LEGO MINDSTORMS Education Resource Set.

I hope this will help you.

  • i aks me : work it incorporated in a real concept of a car

  • @renierbenoit No it was not, in fact, the gear transfer on a real car happens on the inside edge of the clutch, not the outside. By doing this, a vehicles drive-shaft is driven directly by the same axle at all times; rather than being split and requiring two devices for the shifting of power, resulting in a higher friction drive system, and less torque, and therefore, less speed. All this would significantly decrease the mileage of a vehicle, making it harder to sell or even to market.

  • @renierbenoit - Yes blade is correct. The way a car transmission works is you have the shaft that comes from the engine output has a bunch of different sized gears on it that are all meshed with a gear on another shaft. The other gears are all on one shaft that goes to the wheels (Differential then wheels and such). On one shaft all the gears are mounted securely and always turn with the shaft. The other shaft, all the gears are idler gears, and only one is engaged to turn the shaft at a time.
