The sound with no load = crappy. The sound under load and accelerating hard = heaven. It's one of the best sounding engines EVER. Just not in neutral.

It's True that the bike sounds much better while driving, but as you maybe noticed, we opened the extra valve by taking off the cable that opens en closes the valve....
this bike has a two stage exhaust. valve only opens top exhaust exit at around 4000 rpm and only when bike is IN GEAR !! sounds different ( better ) when it's moving!!!!
unfortunately the real sound which is much better, is not heard through this video, obviously due to the microphones etc... but anyway, for me, it's one of the best sounds I love it. And the engine is so elastic and smooth but at the same time so powerful. It's almost like it defies the laws of engines or something :)
I was not amused about the new optic when i saw it first time - but perhaps this was only for the beginning... then i saw a test in a journal and i thought: thats it. perfect. now i heard this sound - and i am totally shocked. NO - this is not the sound of a motorcycle with V4-power .. there even a small korean car sounds more like a bike. Who likes to drive on a tumbler? I hate this noise-reduction. Now it is too much
