Markos grew up in El Salvador to a greek father and salvadoran mother. He returned to the USA years later to tell Americans how to live. Huffington and george Soros, the other leading voices of the left also grew up overseas. They have every right to their opinion, but it does seem a little strange that three of the biggest voices on the left were not even raised in the USA.

@jjmcoates Markos was born 1971, in the U.S. Moved to moved with his family to El Salvador in 1976. Returned to the U.S.in 1980. Four years, age 5-9 doesn't qualify as "grew up in El Salvador". He served in the U.S. Army from 1989 through 1992. He has two bachelor degrees from NIU and a JD from the Boston University School of Law. I'm sure that your own credentials match or out do his. I'm sure of that.
