@JaymoeSays No. Our propeht was mocked and rideculed many times and there were no such consequences. The fatwa against Rushdi was by the Iranian Ayotollah years after he had published the book. It was political and only applied to the minorty shia sect, not mainstream sunni islam. I disagree with the recent cartoons as there should be respect for peoples faiths. Pictures are not allowed in Islam and to have such things about the prophet is a big deal.Islam bashing has become the norm

I got married on the 18th june 2010 in vanuatu with my family and close friends there also. I grew up with my mum and dad playing yusuf (cat) and my best memories are driving to the coast in our old holden wagon with cat stevens playing. i spoke with my mum on my wedding day about how good the vibe was and how fitting it was that yusuf was playing at the same time back home that day. my dad has since passed and i can only think about how beautiful that day was for all of us together. peace.
