  • THIS IS SO COOL! I was so sad when I couldn't find this on itunes... but this is amazing! It's so cool that you could do this with your bassoon. Bassoons are kind of overlooked, aren't they :)

  • I love it! But its sad that maddam d pompedour didnt get to travel with the doctor.

  • @REINEJAK012 thank you. and yes, the ending was very sad indeed

  • Nice, do you have the sheet music for it?

  • i was crying at the end why couldnt she live to see the stars wwwwwwwwwwwhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhyyyyyyyyyyyyyy

  • This sounds a bit Steam-punk-ish to me... This would serve me well in a little project of mine...

  • @lilphilzi thank you very much^^

  • Does anyone knows where can I get the original music?

  • @csinygreekgirl

sadly no, this particular piece was never included on any soundtracks. there are several fanmade "unreleased" soundracks floating around youtube but I´ve never been able to find one that contains this music.

in case you manage to find it, let me know, will ya ^^

  • @Boomkinw00t Hey! I found the music! It was played in the doctor who: a celebration! It's not the original music as we hear in the beggining of this episode, but it's the best that I could find! You'll see that it's almost like the original!!!! I will upload it soon! :)

  • @csinygreekgirl guess what I just found? since yt won´t let me post links, search for "clockwork droids murray gold" ur the user "DoctorWho3172"

  • this is actually pretty amazing, i used to watch the episode just to hear this awesome melody! This is the only piece on music which uses it so thank you!!!!

  • @VampireDeathLied

    thanks^^

this episode is probably my favorite and the msic plays definetely a role in that. I was so disappointed it wasn´t included on the soundtrack except for Madame de Pompadour. There is one video here in which the user muted the dialogue so that you can hear the music more clearly maybe you´ll enjoy that one as well

  • @Boomkinw00t I love this episode and soundtrack more than any other of Doctor Who as its really emotional and the original is so... beautiful ; )

  • kind of has a tim burton quality to it and a bit of "nightmare before cristmas" feel.

  • @yuri1ishtar I´ll take that as a compliment, so thank you

  • ntranced257 how's it bad for the ears

  • This is excellent, it works really well - including the ticking, actually, given the nature of the scene :)

  • @socksofbalhoon

    thank you very much^^

  • This really stands out as well done in capital letters!

  • @Theogmeo123

    thank you very much!

  • I realy liked the way youv'e done it, especialy the second version, you should do the full score of it.

  • @jhfdhgvnbjm75

    thanks a lot!

I would love to play more, but I don´t have any more sheet music -.-

  • haters gonna hate. I think this gives it a really interesting vibe.

  • @pastronaut

thank you for your kind words, I really appreciate it

  • didn't like the instruments, the actual soundtrack is fantastic though, but this vids sound was ugly and bad for the ears.
