Nice video. Where can I get that waterless veneer tape? I use the water tape with masking tape holding the joint tight till the water tape dries and then I remove the masking tape and water tape the rest prior to gluing.Thanks, Dave
No clue man. It could work though... but I don't see any benefits to doing it this way. Trust me, you get REALLY fast doing it this way. Also, this method allows you to taper ends/sections to accommodate slightly arched, or radiused pieces as well.

Good video. Just to say I use a hair dryer for removing veneer tape as the heat gun can be a little scary.
