LOl i have a 95' New Yorker and it has potential But what a piece of shit, so many things have gone wrong on this car, now i need a transmisson, I can see why you did this the few days when it runs i was always impressed with the ride and power.....again when it was running..
im driveing a 95 concord and i want to remove the revlimiter or atlest bump it up to the red line . is this something mechanical i can adjust or do i have to shell out for a performance p.c.m. ?
the guys at dodgeintrepid . n e t well be able to tell you, they know more about the pcm than i do, tell them gearhead291 sent you. from what i think the only 93-97 cars with out a limiter were the intrepids with the performance handling package, like my new 97.
ha that was my retarded friend that commented that... he has a blown up lhs in his backyard and he thinks hes gonna make it a supercar. hes a retard. HAHAAHAHAHH!
@CrashArtSkillz: diffrent suspenson, interior, floor mounted shifter, bucket seats. the LHS is the more "sporty" version. even tho the new yorker was pretty sporty for A BIG sedan.
@CrashArtSkillz: IT SHOULD be less expencive but i cant ensure that. you should be happy with the new yorker. thats what i had and i loved it. i wish i never sold it. matter of fact im saving up for another one. :D
I just had a 94' New Yorker delivered last Friday. Yours sounds great but I'm going the opposite direction with mine. I want to make it quieter, more comfortable. It's fully loaded so I figure I'll take it that direction.
just a heads ups, Chrysler LH vehicles have a defectively and dangerously designed steering system that can lead to premature failure and even sudden failure such as inner tie rod bolts suddenly snapping off.
Check out dodgechryslersteeringproblems dot com for more informationm, photos of broken tie rod bolts and more.
Chrysler LH's are not good performance vehicles because they are prone to complete loss of steering which can happen suddenly.
inner tie rod ends and rack and pinion bushings. thats the common problem with them, once replaced it will drive and handle like new, i think they have some "problem solver" kits for these cars and i dont think its too hard to fix either. nice car, i love them.
well as engines get older they built up gunk and crud in the motor, and spark plugs spark plug wires, air filter become all used up.
also the muffler can build up with stuff too. all of these things can cause a noticeable drop in performance,i reccomend getting a fuel injection service, new plugs, new air filter, new fuel filter and you dont rely need a new muffler until like 170,000mi but when you get that stuff it'll run like new
my ac compressor clutch locked up 3 days ago....had to cut the belt to keeep driving but also have a shot EGR and a broken trans mount along with som minor problems

Studmike02 4 years ago
man your guess is as good as mine.
i took it all apart thinking it was a cable.
but it was all electronic so i just have to get a new one sometime
gearhead291 4 years ago
ohh allright man
what performance do you have on
and where did you buy them from?
Studmike02 4 years ago
well as of right now i just got the performance air filter from auto zone.
it was like 24$. i'll be getting the crome intake tube from there soon, as well as other things
gearhead291 4 years ago
did you notice the big change after you got the air fliter? and does it fit right?
Studmike02 4 years ago
oh yea i did notice a good bump in low-end
and top-end power.
it's fits you just have to use the right fitting ring that comes with it.
and just attach it to the intake tube tightly. :)

Studmike02 4 years ago
ummm well weve had it since 167,000 and the problems weve hsad are the a/c compresser and the steering thats it i think
gearhead291 4 years ago
since i broght my lhs at 93000 ive noticed my performances had started lacking a little (not as good as when i brought it before) do you know why?
Studmike02 4 years ago
