  • You are awesome!!!!! I'm full time student and also I have to drive to my school every day. It takes me about an hour to get there. Before, I would prepare salads, juices smoothies and other stuff, to take with me. Now, I will just throw bananas in my gym bag! Love 80/10/10 diet!

  • Great video dude!!!! Ron Paul 2012

  • Bright Young Man!! Great diet and Mr Ron Paul!!

  • i havent eaten in nine hours... dude lets this diet cleanse you, but do not get stuck in the dogma of it, listen to your body. This diet is nuts. vegans that dont eat seeds, nuts, herbs, grains, legumes, fungus, sprouts, fats, ferments. LOL look at that sentence! is mother earth crazy? oh man

  • This is amazing! May I ask what inspired you to go to an 80/10/10 raw diet? I'm vegan now, try to stay akaline, but feel like I may need more. Thanks for posting!

  • @lauranne2585 i am not vegan, i was at one point i stopped. veganism is an amazing detox tool, but in my opinion not sustainable. But if you doing becuase of society ethical issues, I urge you to eat the full spectrum of vegan foods, nothing processed, and flax, hemp, avacado, coconut ect.

  • You're kind of awesome, you know that?

  • i like your PG's and pink socks! hahaha.....

  • I heard somehwere that eating vegetarian is not more expensive or even cheaper , when you factor in reduced doctor visits and such. Is it true? I know bananas are pretty cheap and lettuce but what other foods are your main go to source of energy and deliciousness?

  • @CantWeedThis Right now I'm eating more varieties of persimmons than I have fingers to count. I'm spending $125 on fruit every week and a half and $20 per week on vegetables, at the moment, then maybe $5/week on distilled water. And I'm in abundance. Videos on all of this starting, well, today.

It sounds like you've got a pretty good experiment to run, there. How about you give it a shot and then let us know?

  • Wow awesome! I need to get better at ripening bananas! :)

  • are you A rabbit?

  • "Its a mono meal basically a single type off food for a day also can be called a mono fruit diet if you never knew look it up"

  • You call a bag of lettuce and papaya a meal?

  • @belrich08 You obviously haven't had a whole papaya... they are filling!! try it some time. they're good too

  • @belrich08

I am aware they are filling, nutritionally it isn't enough

  • @belrich08 Nutritionally enough is exactly what they are you dip. Calories do not equal nutritional value. Seriously how fucking stupid are you? Clearly a BK kid.

  • @ACLogikel

You may think that I am nutritionally not as advanced at you but at least I do not go around insulting people and swearing at them for not knowing a lot about calories. This in turn makes you the stupid, ignorant and clearly quite angry one. You have made a fool of yourself, not me.

  • @belrich08

I was the one attacked and called "fucking stupid"

  • @belrich08 yeah quite low cal!

You wanna be getting more like a 1000 calories a meal, not 4-500!

  • @hoppimike Why? Do you burn 1000 calories off so quick that you need to eat more than 1k at each meal? Seriously guy, get educated.

  • @ACLogikel well, 30 Bananas a Day recommends at least 3000 cals a day.

I was exaggerating a bit in that comment just to mess around, as what I tend to do is eat large amounts of fruits and greens steadily throughout the day. If I have to have say 5 meals then I will divide 3000 cals between them. If I have to have 3 meals due to time restrictions then I will have around 800-1000 cals a meal (which is only 10 bananas or a bag of dates), and some snacks will be in there too. So... yeah :)

  • What is the name of the store that you buy bananas at? I want to find bananas for that cost in Canada.

  • @g9g9g9 I bought them at a local organic food store. If you purchase organic bananas by the case (40lbs) and special order them you should ask for a case discount (which may be anywhere from 10% - 25%). If there is a wholesaler near by then that's your best bet for getting even cheaper bananas.

  • you are SUCH a strong inspiration. I just started out on this diet and feel very conscious of my eating habits. Thank you for being such an inspiration. I still can't imagine bringing 10 bananas to lectures hahaha!!

  • @marklung Thanks Mark :)

I'm glad you found the video useful.

  • love the Santa pj's.

  • I like the diet and the Ron Paul sign!

  • @greves11 Thanks! :)

  • wow that's amazing and so inspiring. I am transitioning to a raw vegan 80/10/10 diet and I wish there was someone like you at my dorm! make more videos please I need support!

  • Thanks I really appreciate your support as I support you. =)

  • Wow. I really admire you. I'm vegan and living in a college dorm and I find just THAT a challenge. Not that this is relevant but may I ask what college you attend?

  • @FM897 I hope I can be an inspiration for you to remain on your health-filled path. I attend Indiana University.

  • @SamsRawTruth I'm not sure if I'm ready to commit to 80/10/10 but I'd really like to one day. Meanwhile, you are definitely an inspiration for me to get to the grocery store more often so I'm not living exclusively on the vegan crap they have in the cafeteria. I really admire you for making your health your top priority and not coming up with a dozen excuses for why you can't when you're a student (like so many people do in college and out in the real world where it's much easier).

  • @SamsRawTruth I wish I were there so I could do this with you! Then you wouldn't be the only "weird raw vegan who eats a sh*t load of fruits and vegetables". :)

  • @FM897 HAHAHAH!!!!! That made me laugh really hard out loud! I don't let food stand between me and any of my friends or let it stand in the way of making new friends. In fact, I rarely bring it up except with close friends who are very well acquainted with who I am and how I choose to live.

That said, it's always nice to have a fruit eating buddy =)

  • @apocalist420 hahaha I'm impressed. Well, I have RP videos too if that means anything, but usually on the YAL @ IU page.

  • awesome where there is a will there is certainly a way thanx brother uve givin me ideas wow:)

  • @Lesbiana31 Thanks, much appreciated! Use passion to drive your motivation to succeed.

  • @SamsRawTruth as good as that sounds i always have a problem staying consistent any advice for procastination besides the obviouse not to!

  • @Lesbiana31 Write out what your goals are and post them everywhere you need reminder. Also, motivation x need = success. Figure out what your reasons/motivations are for pursuing a particular goal, write them down, and put them where you can see them and where you need them so when you go to make the mistake you have reinforcement of why you would like to take a certain path in life. Does that help?

  • @SamsRawTruth Yes awesome thankyou so much .....

  • dude. I LOVE THE BANANAS. embrace the banana love.

  • oh gosh usually 2 bunches of bananas can last me a week *-* but I eat lots of other stuff too.

  • Wow!!! :D

  • ORGANIC bananas?? So many??? Those things go bad in like 3 days!

  • @quitejaded Depends on the ripeness, and how you like to eat them.

  • That is certainly a shit load of bananas!

  • i dont mean to sound dumb, but what exactly is 80/10/10?

  • Awesome, what are the benefits of eating so many bananas? I'm a vegan working towards raw.

  • how in the world can you eat that many bananas in a week? Also, I hope you dont buy organic bananas as I highly suspect because you are a vegetarian... organic bananas are simply a waste of money. Trust me, I have connections with a employee of America's largest banana supplier.

  • Hey Mike. As far as how many bananas, or any other fruit I eat in a week, for that matter, is all relative. I would also say that applies for what each individual considers a good/poor use of money. I also buy silver, and many would say that TOO is a waste of money. However, I'm not forcing YOU to go buy silver, that just happens to be my preference for what's a good use of it, and I respect your right to choose your own.

  • @SamsRawTruth well said! youre a great example of putting someone in there place without cursing them out ,ur a nice gye i wish u success in everything you do ,u deserve it!

  • I'm currently trying to do 811rv in college. Any tips sam? I'm only starting out, been only 3 weeks.

  • do you seriously eat that much bananas in a week?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

    :0

  • No, not necessarily. It depends on the season and what's available. When I was living in a college dorm, bananas happened to be cheap and convenient. When I was living on the Big Island of Hawaii, jackfruit was free and bountiful. It just depends on the current situation.

  • switch the green eggs and ham scenerio over to raw fruit and veg and you got it... sam raw i am you can eat on a plane you can eat it on a train and yes you can eat in a college too!

  • Thanks for the report Man!

  • I LOVE RON PAUL AND I SUPPORT HR1207 and 801010!!!!

  • fantastic

    thanks

  • eating a ton of fruit a day :)

    fat/protein intake below 10%

every cell of our body runs on glucose :)

  • @kleinesveilchen "every cell of our body runs on glucose"

And how much glucose in our blood?

    proteinpower. com/drmike/sugar-and-sweeteners/a-spoonful-of-sugar

"Since one teaspoon contains 5 grams, the 4.95 grams of sugar in the blood of a person just short of being pre-diabetic equals a little less than one teaspoon.

If you run all these calculations for a blood sugar of 80 mg/dl, which is a much healthier blood sugar than the 99 mg/dl one that is knocking on the door of pre-diabetes, it turns

  • "out to be about 4/5 of a teaspoon.

If you run the calculations for 126 mg/dl, the amount of sugar in the blood of someone just over the line into the diagnosis of diabetes, you find out that it is 6.25 grams, or 1 1/4 teaspoon. So, the difference between having a normal blood sugar and a diabetic blood sugar is about a quarter of a teaspoon of sugar.

    [...]

a nectarine contains about 14 g carb, so 1/2 nectarine would have around 7 grams, which is a little more than a teaspoon."

  • just the sort of info i want. i'm in college

  • I never heard of any of this about food.I live in the czech republic. We eat bread and meat here and even the fruitjuice is fake.I feel i need lots of meat and carbs for the gym.You live on bananas and lettuce.HOW?

  • Cool video. I still don't see how that is 80-10-10 though. I'd really like to chat with you more on this, because in the Fall I will be attending University and more than likely staying in a dorm.

  • the only thing about bananas is that they are tearing down the rainforest to plant only banana trees cuz its the only thing that makes money. so youre kinda supporting that. any way you can switch to something grown a little more locally and sustainably?

  • Awesome! While so many students are wasting away on junk food, drugs and alcohol in college you are living clean and superior. Natures law still applies in this world, only the strong will survive, you are gonna make it big!

  • This is awesome, I think it's super cool that you're not "waiting" to do this until you graduate or have your own place. It shows how easy it is to actually eat this way and all the million excuses one can come up with are really just that, excuses.

As for the pathetic comments about your poster, there are always freaks out there who feel threatened by anyone who doesn't have identical opinions.

  • I'm sorry that you do not agree with my political values, and I respect your right to disagree. However, I do find it hurtful for you to use a derogatory term on me when we have not even met and talked.
