You are awesome!!!!! I'm full time student and also I have to drive to my school every day. It takes me about an hour to get there. Before, I would prepare salads, juices smoothies and other stuff, to take with me. Now, I will just throw bananas in my gym bag! Love 80/10/10 diet!
I am a Falun Gong practitioner. Falun Dafa is a cultivation system in the Buddha School based on the principles of the Universe: 真 Truthfulness 善 Compassion 忍 Forbearance.
Since 1999 it has been brutally persecuted by the CCP in China. People are being killed, tortured, put into concentration camps and have organs harvested from live people, simply because of their belief. More than 3400 Falun Gong practitioners have died at the hands of CCP in the past 12 years.
i havent eaten in nine hours... dude lets this diet cleanse you, but do not get stuck in the dogma of it, listen to your body. This diet is nuts. vegans that dont eat seeds, nuts, herbs, grains, legumes, fungus, sprouts, fats, ferments. LOL look at that sentence! is mother earth crazy? oh man
This is amazing! May I ask what inspired you to go to an 80/10/10 raw diet? I'm vegan now, try to stay akaline, but feel like I may need more. Thanks for posting!
@lauranne2585 i am not vegan, i was at one point i stopped. veganism is an amazing detox tool, but in my opinion not sustainable. But if you doing becuase of society ethical issues, I urge you to eat the full spectrum of vegan foods, nothing processed, and flax, hemp, avacado, coconut ect.
I heard somehwere that eating vegetarian is not more expensive or even cheaper , when you factor in reduced doctor visits and such. Is it true? I know bananas are pretty cheap and lettuce but what other foods are your main go to source of energy and deliciousness?
@CantWeedThis Right now I'm eating more varieties of persimmons than I have fingers to count. I'm spending $125 on fruit every week and a half and $20 per week on vegetables, at the moment, then maybe $5/week on distilled water. And I'm in abundance. Videos on all of this starting, well, today.
It sounds like you've got a pretty good experiment to run, there. How about you give it a shot and then let us know?
@belrich08 Nutritionally enough is exactly what they are you dip. Calories do not equal nutritional value. Seriously how fucking stupid are you? Clearly a BK kid.
You may think that I am nutritionally not as advanced at you but at least I do not go around insulting people and swearing at them for not knowing a lot about calories. This in turn makes you the stupid, ignorant and clearly quite angry one. You have made a fool of yourself, not me.
@ACLogikel well, 30 Bananas a Day recommends at least 3000 cals a day.
I was exaggerating a bit in that comment just to mess around, as what I tend to do is eat large amounts of fruits and greens steadily throughout the day. If I have to have say 5 meals then I will divide 3000 cals between them. If I have to have 3 meals due to time restrictions then I will have around 800-1000 cals a meal (which is only 10 bananas or a bag of dates), and some snacks will be in there too. So... yeah :)
@g9g9g9 I bought them at a local organic food store. If you purchase organic bananas by the case (40lbs) and special order them you should ask for a case discount (which may be anywhere from 10% - 25%). If there is a wholesaler near by then that's your best bet for getting even cheaper bananas.
you are SUCH a strong inspiration. I just started out on this diet and feel very conscious of my eating habits. Thank you for being such an inspiration. I still can't imagine bringing 10 bananas to lectures hahaha!!
wow that's amazing and so inspiring. I am transitioning to a raw vegan 80/10/10 diet and I wish there was someone like you at my dorm! make more videos please I need support!
Wow. I really admire you. I'm vegan and living in a college dorm and I find just THAT a challenge. Not that this is relevant but may I ask what college you attend?
@SamsRawTruth I'm not sure if I'm ready to commit to 80/10/10 but I'd really like to one day. Meanwhile, you are definitely an inspiration for me to get to the grocery store more often so I'm not living exclusively on the vegan crap they have in the cafeteria. I really admire you for making your health your top priority and not coming up with a dozen excuses for why you can't when you're a student (like so many people do in college and out in the real world where it's much easier).
@SamsRawTruth I wish I were there so I could do this with you! Then you wouldn't be the only "weird raw vegan who eats a sh*t load of fruits and vegetables". :)
@FM897 HAHAHAH!!!!! That made me laugh really hard out loud! I don't let food stand between me and any of my friends or let it stand in the way of making new friends. In fact, I rarely bring it up except with close friends who are very well acquainted with who I am and how I choose to live.
That said, it's always nice to have a fruit eating buddy =)
@Lesbiana31 Write out what your goals are and post them everywhere you need reminder. Also, motivation x need = success. Figure out what your reasons/motivations are for pursuing a particular goal, write them down, and put them where you can see them and where you need them so when you go to make the mistake you have reinforcement of why you would like to take a certain path in life. Does that help?
Thanks for the Video and bravo if this diet works for you. I tried a diet similar to this, low fat, lots of fruits and veggies, lots of carbs. I did very poorly on the high carb/low fat diet I was following. Some of the problems I had were, falling asleep or getting very drowsy after meals, extreme hunger, peeling/painful skin, very irritable, extreme-extreme cravings for FAT, depression......just to name a few. I do high fat and no/low carb, this is the best diet for me- no depression is great!
how in the world can you eat that many bananas in a week? Also, I hope you dont buy organic bananas as I highly suspect because you are a vegetarian... organic bananas are simply a waste of money. Trust me, I have connections with a employee of America's largest banana supplier.
Hey Mike. As far as how many bananas, or any other fruit I eat in a week, for that matter, is all relative. I would also say that applies for what each individual considers a good/poor use of money. I also buy silver, and many would say that TOO is a waste of money. However, I'm not forcing YOU to go buy silver, that just happens to be my preference for what's a good use of it, and I respect your right to choose your own.
@SamsRawTruth well said! youre a great example of putting someone in there place without cursing them out ,ur a nice gye i wish u success in everything you do ,u deserve it!
No, not necessarily. It depends on the season and what's available. When I was living in a college dorm, bananas happened to be cheap and convenient. When I was living on the Big Island of Hawaii, jackfruit was free and bountiful. It just depends on the current situation.
switch the green eggs and ham scenerio over to raw fruit and veg and you got it... sam raw i am you can eat on a plane you can eat it on a train and yes you can eat in a college too!
