I live above the mountain in Hamilton and I was standing in my park watching the lightning spread across the sky on this very night. They were huge bolts fanning below the clouds illuminating every thing I could see; the lightning filled my entire field of vision from horizon to horizon. That night was one of the greatest moments of my life. :D
I live in Burlington, and the worst one in my oppinion was the one the night of the 'Sound of Music Festival', non stop lightning. Every three seconds, barely any thunder, massive hail, power out, trees snapping in half, it was wicked.
Wow that's crazy. Thanks for recording this. I only witnessed it from the inside. But thanks to your handy camera work I now have witnessed it from outside. :) It truly was quite the spectacle.
