I found La Vey a very good way to break into Satanism... But have always been a spiritualist, seeing ghosts believing in Magick etc so eventually crossed over to Theistic Satanism... Although La Vey presents some sort of normalcy and balance for me. Thanks for the vid and please keep on going.

Ok, I don't consider myself a Satanist because I'm just now studying it and trying to find out if it's right for me. For me, the thing about picking and choosing is that you'll get a lot of people saying "you're not a real (insert whatever religion you are here). I shouldn't have to put up with that shit.

Not the devil necessarily just that Satan does exist. The christian Satan is apart of christian scripture. If one calls themselves a Satanist then generally they are opposed to christianity. Christians deemed all the old European religions satanic. To believe in any of the old Euro religions is to be a Satanist in the eyes of the church.
