  • is this really Jorgfe federico ?

    sweet

    thanks

  • Jorge Federico Osorio is a Mexican pianist. Bravo! for this performance.

  • albeniz will be proud to hear that bravoooooooooooo

  • emozionante davvero. Esecuzione superba, da pelle d'oca.

  • i think his chorts are a bit to strong in the beginning

  • Superbe

  • Excellent interpretation!

  • I remember when i saw in the spanish tv a program of albeñiz on his death centenary.

The frists compositions of Albeñiz were easy and in the conservatories of Spain the students played the compositions of Albeñiz because he was the most important spanish compositor.

And the students played the Albeñiz compositions too bad, and Albeñiz said " Now I´m going to compose difficoult songs, son any begginer won´t play it "

  • Six people failed the right button. Tremendous.

  • TRULY THIS IS THE BEST PERFORMANCE THERE IS OF ASTURIAS, IT IS NOT ONLY IMPECABLE TECHNICALLY BUT HAS THE SPIRIT, THAT MAKES THIS PIECE BELONG TO THIS FANTASTIC ARTIST OSORIO, IT IS ABSOLUTELY WONDERFULL, NOBODY EVEN SPANISH HAS EVER PLAYED THIS WAY, BRAVO MAESTRO! AND THANK YOU FOR YOUR WORK AND LOVE, WE ALL WISH TO PLAY LIKE THIS ONE DAY, IF ANY ONE DISAGREES I DARE THEM TO PUT A VIDEO SAYING OTHERWISE, WORDS ONLY DO NOT MATTER.

  • @joseadorable You said it right!

  • INCREÍBLE EJECUCIÓN A ESA VELOCIDAD!

  • Epic win esta interpretación.

  • that speed and perfection is awesome!!

  • Incredible execution...........

  • Albéniz + Osorio = win.

  • WOW!

  • bull shit he´s great

  • Astonishingly beautiful!

  • FAVOLOSO!

  • This song is not hard to play but not easy to play correctly and beautifully.

I agree that it is too fast. The score itself also notes that it should be non troppo. (Not too fast)

    @newFranzFerencLiszt I agree he's daemon.

  • I'm learning this lol well hahem i go back to my piano...

  • O_O

  • oh my fucking god ?!!

  • WHAT THE HELL!!!! he's a deamon!!!

  • I think this is a little too fast. He leaves out the last 16th note in each measure in order to play the chord/jumps at speed, and there is none of that Spanish guitar feeling to it.

  • @Faeriedean2 It was originally written for piano.

  • Impressive, but I think it's a bit too fast, I think it sounds better a little slower (not too much) with more attention to volume fluctuations, accents and subtle timing.. just because you can play something amazingly fast doesnt always mean you should. It is still great though I like it, nice rendition and incredible musician.

  • SUPERB!

  • Maravilloso,felicitaciones

  • AWESOME

  • Magnificent performance and wonderful sound quality...... Terry UK

  • WONDERFUL!!!

  • @criticism1000 ohhhhhhhhhh I love very much !!impressive playing and stunning piece!!

  • Superb!!

  • MAGNIFICENT!!

  • Perfect perfomance, unbelievable O_O!!

  • love it very much!. a very good performance!

  • Stupendo!!!!!!!

  • WANDERFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Muchas gracias Maestro Osorio.

  • PERFECT!

  • FUCK...WOW

  • wow!!!!!! thats amazing.....just like a machine

  • wonderful!!!

  • Increible es poco

  • too fast. see ungelbertpendo's posting for a

something more expressive. its about musical values.

  • @52dalibor are you serious? sorry but the one you recommend is waaaaaaaaaaay too slow (and mechanical for my taste). This piece must be played fast, maybe no so fast like here but fast. The Spanish theme that "depicts" here need speed and force. And "fast" doesn't always mean inexpressive, you have a lot of soul and music in this interpretation.

  • @fuxefuxe it's leyenda not perpetuum mobile

  • @52dalibor, fast, yes . I like several interpretations that I'm used to listen depending on my feeling at this time.

  • está chido

  • masterpiece!

    speed rulz

Gracias maestro Osorio.

  • nice... like it fast and slow, it's about the player...

  • the tempo is too fast. Maybe not too fast for another pianist, but it's too fast for him, because In the leap section he's scrambling a bit. Better to back off a bit on the tempo.

  • @scordatura Lol I don't know about that. It sounded to me like he played all the notes perfectly and in time but didn't worry too much about volume control only in certain spots. What do you consider the "leap section" in this song anyway?

  • I agree about the too fast part though, but I just happen to think the song sounds better if down a little bit slower.

  • soooooooo soooo fast! i can't move my hands in that way!

  • the speed is fine, stop flaming the speed

  • @PodaiKofa Some people don't like it that fast. I think there are slightly slower renditions out there that are played much better. Although I like the sound of this song on guitar a lot better I don't know about piano it might just sound better at this speed..

  • Much too fast ,are you in a race ??

  • I really enjo this fast version, sounds more in your face.

  • AGREE! It funny that you said "sounds more in your face!! just LOL!!

  • I think albeniz's songs are better in guitar xD I know that the originals are for piano but is only a comment and of course I play guitar and a little piano and I will be finishing the carrer of music in 1 year .. so in my opinion are better in guitar :X

    Gracias!

  • Que limpio, que fuerza le da..... Es absolutamente impresionate.

    Gran pianista y gran compositor.

  • Bravo!

  • o_O O_O

  • For the lovely lady who said that Albeniz is mexican, Abeniz is as spanish as this suite.

  • ¡¡¡¡¡BRAVO!!!!,Maestro Osorio, you are a great musician and pianist, thank you so much for sharing us your thinkings wiyh your music.

    Sincerely:

    Edgar Ovalle.

  • Awesome playing! All my respect on this one but its to fast for me...i dont like it much but playing this at this speed needs soooooo much skill...

  • I kinda get where you're coming from but I really think this is the best speed for the piano version...for exams this is ARCT, and really I find it's not at all a challenge when you play it slowly...I'm modelling my performance style on Mr.Osorio's because I believe it's the best interpretation. This piece is incredibly difficult to play accurately consistently at this speed.

  • AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!

    thanks for uploading the video!

  • Best interpretation of Asturias (Leyenda) EVER!!!

  • @Cricketplayer100 I disagree.. it may not be hard. I think it sounds better when it's a little slower and you worry more about the technique of your playing. I'm not saying I don't like this interpretation though.

  • it's great but i think it sounds better on guitar

  • Extraordinario!!!!!

  • I Love You...

  • Bravoooo!!!!!!!! La mejor interpretacion!!!

  • Would like to see this in motion.

  • Bravo!

  • best piano version on youtube!

immensely helpful in a Spanish interpretation

  • He's Mexican, not Spanish.

  • But Albeniz is Spanish

  • This is remarkable! I have to ask you, where did you find these recordings? Would you be willing to share some through email? I really want to thank you for uploading these treasures! I have always wanted and have been looking for recordings such as these, thank you!!

  • godly, amazing.

  • The best version of Asturias I've so far heard!

  • Wow! He is great!

  • the best version in my opinion

  • and the fastest!!!

  • Mistake! Pablo Galdo's version is the fastest as well(5:05)

  • It could be,but chords in the jumps, has so hard sound. For me the best version is Pablo Galdo's,you can find it in youtube as well.

  • @chaos4u2 agreed!

  • this is sick..umm i wish i can sound like this for my exam :S

  • ok with you

  • Very impressive recording from the MAESTRO OSORIO, unfortunately, we can't find much of him.

    Bravo Maestro!

  • Please do not argue that the piano version is better or that the guitar version is better. Each has its own beauty to offer, and any argument related to this is both ignorant and not constructive.

  • I totally agree that the two different versions have their own flavor, as they are for different instruments. But I would also argue against saying that the guitar version is better, as this piece was originally composed for piano.

  • That was my point. Each is different and shouldn't be compared.

  • theoshow2 thank you so much to share your beautiful recordinds! xxxx

  • those jumps sound so "impossible" to achieve.... i feel depressed now

  • nothing is impossible my friend.. try other fingerings and you shall be able to make theses jumps at this tempo with hard practice

  • Madness! What an impossible tempo and technique! Amazing! The slow part is also beautiful and perfect. Thanks for uploading.

  • excellent

  • What tempo and technique!!

  • Loved it! Thanks.

  • Such rhythm! Thank you very much for the upload!

  • bravo
