I was wondering why Sarah Gilbert was still on this show... it was originally her idea! I thought if anyone should have been canned it should have been her and they should have kept Holli Robinson-Peete.
I think he saw some good lines of questioning on an individual basis for each. He has a rep for interviewing the spouses of the rich/famous/pwerful - this was a chance to kill 3 birds with 1 stone.
