Bonam played double bass for quite a few of his early years. I have video of him live playing double bass kit with the original members of Zep. Tripped me out when I first saw it. Anyway, your drumming is good. Everything just need more practice and refining.

Not bad but the triplet fills were way to ummmm energetic.

It loses the flow and the kick ass groove....big double bass fills were not really a zep thing.

You've got to FEEL IT. All of Bonham's cadences are based solely on groove and feel. And don't be afraid to get awat from the Base-4 beat. Mix it up.

My advice would be to loosen up. You look way too stiff and it comes through in your playing. Too many drummers focus on being flashy and ignore the groove.

I don't think John Bonham would use his cymbals quite like you did, but it wasn't bad at all. Your timing, for one, was great. However, the lick in the middle of the guitar solo is off :(. Bonham would never use double bass, but I know you weren't trying to copy him exactly.

All in all, it was good, except for the crappy quality. Bonham RIP.
