  • Thanks for showing us this video especially putting the steamer together!

  • Came across this review as Im considering buying the Huetiful. Thanks definitely gonna get it now.

  • Have had a chance to use the attachment?

  • jus bought me a hair steamer an bout to try it out now :) excited lol

  • what steemer did you use and how much did it cost

  • Sorry, you answered the question in the video. Lol. I just want to know if you still currently use it and do you still like it?

  • Hey Nikki! I remember you did a review on the hair therapy wrap and I was wondering if the hair steamer is better? (Btw, I own a hair therapy wrap)

  • I love your hair!

  • I think my hair is like yours, can't wait until college when I'll cut off all my relaxed hair. :P (2 more years!)

  • you hella pretty...can i like your cheek bones?

  • I ordered my steamer last week, received it today via Fedex... unfortunately the hair hood was missing and the bracket was greasy and chipped. Its as if they sent me a returned order from someone else!! I must say I was very disappointed as I was very excited to use it today when I got home from work. I called the customer service line and wrote a feedback comment on the website. I hope they can rectify this situation. :-(

  • oh my gosh. you are simply stunning.

  • I just got mine today...literally about an hour ago. I'm so ready to use it once my hair gets out of these braids!!

  • @Nikkimae2003...i bought the steamer in November and luv it. From a professional point of view...i used to assist in a salon owned by a woman who owned a steamer that was different but still did the same thing...im sure it costed more. Anyhow, I think the best thing natural hair-wearer's can do is to use a steamer. My problem is that when I use my huetiful steamer is after 5 mins of being under the steamer, the steam becomes too hot and nearly over heats my scalp. Have u ever experienced this?

  • i wanna insert my bracket into your main unit :P

  • @dubwizzard97 LOL <3

  • did you pay more than $100 for yours?

  • @Jeromecavalliconrad naah she had it for free its in the infos *Disclaimer* I was given both the nuNaat conditioner and the Huetiful Hair Steamer free to review with no obligation for a positive review

  • Natural hair fits some people, tbh I like my hair the way it is, lol.

If you like natural hair do you, my hair is treated, pretty healthy. I'm good ^^. Whatever works for you.

  • @jeraxari have you ever considered going natural? just asking :)

  • @jeraxari It's your hair, do what you want. But I sometimes wonder, what's the point of going through the whole relaxing process when you could just flat iron your hair? It just seems like a waste of time, money, and hair health to me. Thoughts?

  • @GwendolynRaine Oh yea I understand what you mean. Relaxing is hard for me to do especially now that I'm on my own, lol. No mommy to do it for me. I havn't relaxed in a few months. I just spent alot of money on a babyliss pro nano titanium flat iron and I've been using that, and i'm very happy with it. Im hoping it'll be a good replacement to relaxing often. If I could afford to get a professional relaxer I'd probably do it for smoother roots so I don't burn my self with an iron..

  • @Tjaelynn Have you tried roller setting or blow-drying your hair (with a denman brush or something) before flat ironing? When I was wearing my hair straight that always helped me get it as straight as possible (without needing to burn my roots with the flat iron, I mean)

  • I think natural black hair so much better!

  • i am transtioning.. and this is a must have for me..

  • As of this morning I am natural! Thanks for the inspirattion!

  • I wonder if this hair steamer would have the same effect as GHE, green house effect?

  • Nikkimae, when are you going to post a new viedo? I'm anxious to see what happening with you and your beautiful hair in 2012. : )

  • Does your hair still fit under the hood?....I heard it was kinda small.

  • :o ur so pretty!

  • I'm curious about how it felt after it dried.

  • ..how do you comb your hair....i can not comb my hair unless i have a relaxer in

  • @um010 Just moisturize or wet your hair, and then comb! it's not that hard!

  • @R2A2C oo okay i try to do it while my hair is dry...i mean it has moisture in it but like i don't be damp..and its soo hard to comb through

  • @um010 Yeah I know what you mean! it's hard to comb dry hair! that's why, if you want to comb your hair, just wet it or use a leave in conditioner. it'll help you a lot!

  • @um010 Wide-Tooth Comb + Some Conditioner. Personally, I only finger detangle, I spray a little conditioner and water on my hair before I do it. Doesn't take too long.

  • this would be cool for my 5 yr old thick hair if he can sit still under it

  • =free! ha ha

  • hydrate dry hair: run it under sink water. LOL!

  • If I was black.. I would totally have my hair like yours

  • Thanks so much for the video! Pls, how did your hair feel after you allowed it air dry?

  • Nothing to do with your hair, but your eyebrows are AWESOME!

  • love to purchase one, how can i. and that was a nice review thanks.

  • My natural hair is a pain in the butt LOL I've always had natural hair and I love it :3

  • i got mine for christmas this year. yay!

  • I'm considering going natural.. love your vids

  • what's the price for this steamer?

  • @erosalexen I wanted to know too! the BeHuetiful website said $114.95.

  • @butthatsnotnice that's an investment. I'm guessing most people will say it's a good one. I'll consider it :)

  • Hey and please subscribe to my channel!

  • U are so beautiful:)

  • how much does the steamer cost?

  • you are absolutely beautiful!!!!!

  • Could you please do a follow up video of what you still think of the steamer? Do you still use it? I'm contemplating buying one but i definitely want to think it through before i do because i'm a college student and definitely need to be wise about how i spend the little money i have lol

  • it even glows! i want one....like now. right away.

  • im a white man. why am i watching this? lol. oh btw you are gorgeous!

  • @atheistfreethinker17 haha....hooray for random youtube surfing.

  • LOL... She's a doll and makes the Huetiful Steamer look like a great product... So how'd u land on this video... Curious... LOL...

  • @atheistfreethinker17 did you watch the whole thing?

  • @atheistfreethinker17 We call it having "tendencies" .....just saying///

  • @atheistfreethinker17 And that's why you're watching this. ;-)

  • @atheistfreethinker17 lmao! awww that was a great laugh! haha hey you may benefit from it *shrugg* *teehee* ;-) thanks for the funny post :-)

  • @atheistfreethinker17 that is hilarious!

  • This review was helpful I think I am going to buy me one. Thanks.

  • Overall everyone needs good moisture!

  • Perfect video,I did a protective hair shirt tutorial, I uploaded a couple of days ago, check it out...oh and i have a questions did you ever sport cornrows?,if so,how long do you keep yours in?...thanks

  • some people say one should wear a shower cap when doing a steam treatment and some say you shouldn't. Which is right?

  • I'm in the market for a hair steamer. Thanks for the very through review!

  • Can you message the link for new nut- the conditioner you mentioned?- I tried google but couldnt find it

  • Your very beautiful

  • i just got one but I'm wondering how often i should use it. I wash my hair once a week. should I do it after each wash....when i go to the salon to get trimmed they always steam my hair. but i only go every two-three months

  • @slo1986 I'd say at least once a month since it seems like a deep conditioning treatment to me... but it doesn't seem like you can do it too much imo.

  • do you still like the steamer? and has is held up ok since you made this video?

  • I saw the cap swinging but you could not hear me..lol...I just got mine 3 days ago

  • U are awesome. Thank you!

  • how did it feel when it dried? when I used mine it stayed hydrated for a little bit then dried out..badly! :/

  • love the video, but u forgot to mention one thing, how often do you steam your hair? and does it matter what type of water to use? thank u

  • YOU ARE SO HOT.. CAN I CALL YOU SOMETIMES

  • i'm getting one this week...the facial steamer is a plus! Thanks for the vid...as always you & your hair are beautiful!

  • Hi,

Thanks for this video, I would like to know if you still like this steamer and if you still use it........I hope you respond I know this is an older post but I would reallly like to purchase this unit.

  • Update plz

  • I just ordered mine at the Atlanta Natural Hair Show this weekend. What is the name if the deep conditioner you use?

  • Your soo pretty I need this in my life!!!

  • i like your afro!

  • Your hair is soooo pretty!

  • LOL at 5:47 your hair was smoke

  • Never mind i kno lol I should have watch the rest but I cant wait until my hair gets that long how many months it took to get that long

  • What does the steamer do to your hair (i am new at going natural) lol

  • @JasmineMcknight1994 the steam allows the hair cuticles to open up so whatever product you use when you're steaming can really penetrate the hair shaft. water is a natural's best friend, so the steam also retains moisture.

  • where do u buy the steamer?

  • @omgcanigetthatinpink check the description.

  • I just came across your videos and I LOOOVE YOUR HAIRRRRR :)

  • How long did that softness last?

Thanks for all the info, Mae. Keep it up :)

  • Great video Mae. Do you have a facebook page? I'm going to start wearing my hair natural because I'm tired of the salons.

  • she is sexi :]

  • Natural>Weave

  • You're awesome Nikkimae, thanks for the tutorial.

  • I know you hear this a lot but, you are my INSPIRATION!

  • woah.. ur hairs exactly like mine! kinky cute curly afrcian afro! btw i want that thing!

  • My hair is at this length right now

  • Hi Mae soooo I just started going natural But my hair is always so dry! I swear I've put almost everything imagineable in my hair for moisture. Maybe my daily process isnt really cutting it. Do you mind showing me what your process is? PLEASE!!!!!

  • i just found you and i'm subscribed to all these white girls on youtube even though i'm half black so like anything they say about hair really has nothing to do with me, damn i'm dumb!

  • how long was ur hair under there for?

  • how much do these things cost?

  • @Tricklestein : It's 124.90$ on the website...

  • you look like that one girl from the Hawthrne show.. lol

  • you have definetly inspired me Mae!

  • I was waiting for you to comb your hair at the end. But I love how you took time to put the steamer together and show us to remember to attach certain parts.I also wanted to see your hair dry. So I could compare the puffiness. lol Sadly I am just learning of the product. Are you still excited? Are you still blogging. I saw a woman doing a review but her hair was more manageable. Your review caught my attention. Thank you so much. I am very curious about the product.

  • doe this work on all hair types i've been told many times my hir is like a mix between black and hispanic hair types by beautions and i would really like to bye this productso do you think it would help my hair?

  • Thanks for showin how to set it up and great idea putting up her ends.

  • I just cut off my hair yesterday. I posted a video about it on my channel. I love how you've shared your journey and I am hoping to do the same. Your videos are very insightful and you are a joy to watch. Thanks.

  • ur hair is soooooooooooooo amazing!!! what hair products do yu use? i've decided to grow my perm out of my hair and and switch hair products!

  • You're so pretty & it's funny because I've been noticing that women with natural curly hair often look more appealing quicker than women with relaxers (no offense to the women with relaxers) us black women are all beautiful lol it's just different in America. More EYE CATCHING :)

  • @jboogeyable so true. I think black women should just go natural it's not as high maintenance as relaxed hair and its funner. not to mention super cute!

  • I second that! She is adorable to watch and truly a "natural" beauty!

  • my mom bought this after she saw your video <3

  • @lizziechick.....lol hell yee i kno i wouldnt...

  • Awesome Nikkimae!!! Your hair looks wonderful and healthy. Thanks to your video, I'm going to try the Behuetiful :)

  • Comment removed

  • where u get the steamer from

  • I was wondering can you use the steamer for hot oil treatments and if so what will be the best way to use the steamer for an hot oil treatment. For example, with a hooded dryer you can put a plastic cap or plastic bag over your head with the oil in your hair & scalp and sit under the dyer. Can you use this method with the steamer or will it melt the plastic on your hair?

  • your pretty............

  • ..... but your hair looks the same.... -_-

  • @lizziechick16 its not the look that should change but the feel of it. If her hair changes then thats a problem

  • @anewmeePassion nobody looks at peoples hair and says, i wish my hair "felt" like hers -__- lol (im not trying to be mean btw)

  • I understand that steam is beneficial for the hair, but there is no way that I'm paying $127 for a poorly constructed Huetiful Steamer. The hood isn't adjustable and only covers 3/4 of the hair, leaving the nape area exposed. I think that it's important that we remember "quality" is the issue here, and that if we are going to spend that kind of money, the components of this steamer should be of quality so that you get the most for you money.

  • I really appreciate all the informative videos, I'm still transitioning from a relaxer to natural and am wearing cornrows at this time, but can't wait to embrace my natural hair. Where can you get the Huetiful Steamer, and what is the price?

  • omg. ha, I know her!!! hair looks great hon. guess I need to get one.

  • omg. ha, I know her!!! hair looks great hon.

  • how much is it and where did u get it from?

  • your so cuteXD

  • I should have bought this product instead wasting $300+ on stupid shoes/heels! :(

  • omg ur so cute..i wnat my hair to be like that

  • What is the name of the "Brazilian Conditioner" that you mentioned? Pretty hair!

  • I too and natural and know the struggles with drying. i am going to look to invest in this product Thanks MAE (fliipin awesome!)

  • You don't need to do all that steaming baby. Your hair was beautiful and natural the way it was before.

  • @BLKRevolutionHDTV LOL! It made her hair softer which means the steamer held in more moisture which all natural hair needs. Her hair is still natural.

  • where did u get the streamer from

  • pretty hair :) <3

  • please tell me what other things you do to keep your hair long....

  • please tell me what other thing you do to keep you hair long....
