I messed around with the settings to make it go faster but it all goes horribly wrong if it goes any faster because of the way I built the carriages to connect to eachother.

I'm new to little big planet and I've got a couple of questions. How did you make the lift and how did you make the doors to the lift move?

The doors are two flat panels of glass held to the side of the actual elevator with pistons, I tweaked the pistons max/min lengths so they closed nicely but then I put a sensor switch to activate with the action "direction"

So when I pull the switch to move the elevator down it triggers the sensor to close the doors and then the same again when you reach the bottom, theres another sensor to open them

Basically the wheels of the engine car (the first one with the fire) has motor bolts on them and when you move into the first passenger car it sets off a switch that activates them and makes the train move.

It stops at the other station because there is a block stopping it :P

Also if you pause at 0:52 you can see it a bit clearer, what happens is an invisible switch destroys a piece of destructible material that is holding that block above the switch that makes the train move

(Its very simple but very hard to explain lol)
