Nice sounding 12A and Rx-7. That spoiler is sweet, super hard to find. Even harder has been to find stock size 185 70 R13 in white letter tires. I thought about removing my cat on my '85 12A, there's 3 of them, but it runs great, put on a used flowmaster series 40 and i'm happy. If i could do it differently i'd put a long cherrybomb with built-in muffler in middle of car then open pipe wider to the tip to build resonance and deep bass exh.

My engine is bone stock, except the shit exhaust system that is on it. I have a Magnaflow muffler, and a Vibrant resonator, I just need to get it to a shop to get it all welded up with new 2.25 inch piping.

How did you get that kind of throttle response from your 12a? Is it mostly stock or is there a whole bunch of mods?

That's pretty much normal throttle response from a well tuned 12a with a decent exhaust :)

Had an '83, that looks stock to me too. With the burps and coughs on the de-celeration unfortunately. Bad anti-backfire valve. You can actually cover the inlet hole in the intake manifold with tape to cure that problem. Worked for 3 years on mine!
