Nice. It might help if Muslim women didnt alienate us by wearing long black covers. Most people I've spoken to find this scary looking & intimidating. Does it say in the Koran that a woman must wear black or that it must cover her entirely? I'm not sure but when at I look at old paintings women wear white headscarves which make sense as white reflects the heat of the sun. When the world sees women in head to toe black cover, they see fanatics disregarding social norms e.g. police ID-ing faces.

Nice. It might help if Muslim women didnt alienate us by wearing long black covers. Most people I've spoken to find this scary looking & intimidating. Does it say in the Koran that a woman must wear black or that it must cover her entirely? I'm not sure but when at I look at old paintings women wear white headscarves which make sense as white reflects the heat of the sun. When the world sees women in head to toe black cover, they see fanatics disregarding social norms e.g. police ID-ing faces.

There is hypocrisy in presuming that "the Western World" is ignorant or think a certain way just because a few of our elected officials are poor statesmen. It's quite popular today to denounce American values and policies, one should remember that the US is a country founded on the basis of natural rights described by John Locke, which pilgrims believed were being restricted by British monarchy. Similarly I believe many Arab values also limit natural rights, hinder freedom and limit prosperity.

I can see where you are going and what you're trying to do. I very much welcome that and also think it's important to start a dialogue (especially a dialogue of the people). But parts of your film can be seen as again blaming the west. As long as people blame it's not getting better. It's stepping out of that vicious circle that makes the difference. I think sticking to the Queen and asking questions is a good way.

I followed the link from Queen Rania's page favouriting this video, I'm disappointed. Whilst eager to preach to us in the west about our tendency to stereotype, it only ends up making it worse. The biggest thing is the reliance on Strawman arguements: arguing with things that nobody ever said or is not the actual portrayal our media gives at all. Our very own BBC here in Britain goes out of it's way to be 'sensitive' even if it completely obscures legitimate points of view that might offend.

In my opinion in every country are extremists who see nothing than their own thoughts of good and bad. In the History we have seen, that only a strong relationship between all countries in the world can prevent genocides.
if we work together, we can stop murder.
if we don´t stop blaming each other for war in some countries, then it will go on forever.

As a Muslim I am convinced that the western countries aiming to destroy us. The war begins when Israel occupied Palestine, then the US continued in all other countries. First they do a visibility study estimating the benefits they can get by dealing with the country regime, and if its not satisfying they have million excuse to go there and get what they wants.

wow great vid: though the song is fitting i always get a nasty feeling from it for since i ever heard it i never have the feeling anyone is listening(in war making governments that is)...all those mony on irak couldve been used for alternative fuel..

I really blame it on the American government and not on the American nation.Its a war for interests for oil and because of that many innocent people suffer.I am sorry for the suffer and hurt but I do believe in justice ,and justice will be made.I am a law student and I am studying law because I want to make a difference in this world and I know I can and my voice will be heard in the future .The world will be healed.

I am sorry...i am all for world peace and global understanding but your video is completely wrong and the claims you make are unfounded. All eliments of society have 'evil' or bad parts to them, everyone knows that and i dont think any level headed person would ever say that all muslims are terrorists or that all soliders are murders.
And again i am sorry but no war is undertaken in which civilians are involved or effected...it is just one of those things.

The preceding discussions are awesome. It proves that there is this minority in every corner of this world that has mutilated thinking of aggression towards others. That minority is spreading hatred, whereas the rest of the world population is for mutual understanding & coexistence.
Conclusion:
1. Majority of the Americans & Europeans do not hate Arabs and Muslims.
2. Majority of Arabs & Muslims dont hate Americans & the west.
The challenge is to keep the balance in our favor.

I don't think your video quite helps the discussion Queen Rania set up. Because in this video you take the underlying position: what you're actually saying is: We suffer from your violence against muslims, we are victims too - from YOUR violence.
You still use stereotypes to communicate. I would have rather seen a video where muslims are victims from muslim terrorism as well: this would show that terrorism is bad, not the Americans or the Europeans or any other ethnic group...
