It lacks the compression blast that evens out its advantages somewhat, so I wouldn't exactly say that only noobs should use the backburner.

Call me a "noob" if you will, but I really don't care if using a backburner automatically makes me a noob.

@Benny5421 The backburner is bad for these reasons: A good huntsman Sniper, Scout, Soldier, Demoman and Dead Ringer Spy, will always kill you/Get away. Unless you get lucky and jump on them in small hallways/confined areas etc. Also you can't extinguish teammates that are on fire. So basically you become less of a help to the team, get killed more easily and can really only help in small situational 1v1s when using the backburner, and people, like me will kill you every time. -A Fellow Pyro
