Maddymouse Beijing's Opening ceremony may have bigger than Ben Hur but it is nothing in comparison to the Sydney Opening Ceremony. They're chalk and cheese. the sydney 2000 opening ceremony was probably the only opening ceremony that has ever had so many meaningful songs in it!

It is still by far the best opening ceremony for that reason.

(I hope london uses sydney as a template for the opening ceremony!)

she was lip-syncing simple because how else can you ensure that she would actually be heard? in some performances she had to fly around. in my opinion she's a great singer and it was a good idea to have her lipsync to her own voice just to ensure that she'd have a voice!
