Well all the border structure should be rmeoved, especially on austrian side. the speed limit will be the last thing to change

Everything will likely take some time. I recall at the Border crossing Menton-Ventimiglia, they still have the customs control buildings standing after all these years since Schengen got fully in place in Italy and France. I wouldn't trust on everything being removed at all.

On the motorway between Italy and France everything was removed. Maybe it is on french side. The french usually dont remove anything, the other countries yes!

That seems right... where I live between Germany anf Drance there is STILL (for 13 years?) border control post on the French side, and a speed limit to 30.

The French obviously think they are above the law.
