  • I think cowboy bepop is not only the greatest anime but represents the full potential of the future, not literally but rather the possible anime industry. But after watching cowboy bepop I never found a greater anime or something that could compare. Fuk the cuteness just give me a decent storyline!!

  • @gothgal06 Yeah I feel the same. It's pretty much unbeaten and unbeatable. However, there are some other anime series and movies that are masterpieces of their own. From the top of my head, some of my favorites are the first Ghost in the Shell movie, Spirited Away, Wolf's Rain, and I suppose even some parts of Samurai Champloo (although the latter has a few whacky moments and episodes that are almost painful for me to watch).

  • @enyvl Thanks for the anime list for me to watch next :DD I love spirted away, the meaning and whole story is amazing but nothing hits reality like cowboy bepop. I wish the industry would change :(

  • @gothgal06 I agree with you so much, I'm so sick of those brain dead kawaii animes, I hope those anime producers from japan get it through their thick greedy heads that they need quality over quantity.

  • @qu3ter LOL totally, they killed shugo chara!! Like 120 epsidoes and the first 50 were like the best but after that it went straight down hill. The other thing I dispese is when they change the stroy line from the manga, because I like to watch both but two storylines is too complicated............

  • @gothgal06 no, there is Neon Genesis Evangelion :) But both are my favorite animes... They're different genres, so i can't say which one is better... That's why i love both =D

  • this is without a doubt my favorite song among a playlist of legendary songs from the seatbelts, I LOVE COWBOY BEBOP!

  • @OroborusFMA Go troll the Naruto videos

  • Greatest Japanese band EVER

  • Does anyone know the lyrics to this song.

  • @CrazieTiffy Mr. Google Knows All.

  • Shit balls man... Best reality check song ever...

  • now we all can't be; superfly...

    GQ, PHD, FBI

    whos hip anywa (Y)

  • Even without the amazing music, Cowboy Bebop would still be the best anime about...ever.

  • See you later, Space Cowboy

  • wow, this song is a total rip of where its at by beck

  • e.e I think Edu are a boy :s

  • Earth girls are so easy.

  • Anyone knows the name of the singer?

  • @TheNTIproductions the seat belts they did alot of the music for cowboy bebop :)

  • @MrBertbecker they did it all with yoko kano

  • Feel good man .

  • I only saw the movie last week, but why do I feel like I listened to this song years and years ago from somewhere else? O.o

  • Cowboy Bebop made me relize that Blues is the best music for my tastes. R.I.P. Spike

  • Spike be all, "I'M SORRY, I CAN'T HEAR YOU OVER MY SWAG."

  • MINI ESTEVE AQUI

  • Arsène Lupin = the French gentleman Thief !

  • "He called you a 'Cowboy'. What did he mean...what are you?"

    "Just a humble bounty hunter ma'am :)"

  • who couldnt not like this song its catchy, cool and classy. and thats a bold statement coming from me considering my taste in music a few years ago.

  • @iainknowsthis Not to be a grammar Nazi, but you used a double negative. That means you're basically saying "Who could like this song? It's catchy, cool and classy."

  • I have a radio show in France, and I use a footage of this song for the jiglle... Luv' it!

  • FUNKADELIC SPACEGROOVE

  • :D

  • This show is probably my second favourite anime of all time, the first being Wolf's Rain. Both were done by the same people, and so was the music. I love Yoko Kanno's stuff so much, along with the Seatbelts and Steve Conte :)

  • Putting a simple "ting" at the end of put, in your description. Would make you sound alot more coherant.

  • Why do i love this song so much. I've been listening to it all day.

  • 14 kids, animals and women with attitude

  • @HayamaiProductions or 14 Brats, Beasts, and Tomboys. (I am pretty sure what the sub said~ XD)

  • Anyone else love to sing along with this?

  • lol spike is standing next to the three things he hates most

  • @wnba131 Sorry, but I disagree. I believe Spike loves -in a very particular way- Faye, Ed and even Ein.

  • Comment removed

  • @Janograd

he was only referring to how spike hates kids, animals and women with attitudes.

  • I'm sure we could all gush about Bebop for days on end, but if I had to describe it in one word it would be this

"Cool", everything about this show is just fucking cool, the characters the music the plot the setting the atmosphere. I think just sums it up so perfectly

  • GUMMED UP BRAIN DEAD CAN'T DECIDE?!?!?!?!?!?!?

  • I some times start singing this with one of my teachers. It is pretty fun. :3 This is one of my favorites~<3

  • the Bebop movie alone has one of the best anime soundtracks of all time

  • Does anyone else get a warm tingly feeling from anything that has to do with Cowboy bebop? Back when I first started watching on Adult Swim...I think it was like 2004 or 5 I would wake up at four in the morning because it was better than staying up until twelve, for awhile it was my ritual to drink coffee and watch cowboy bebop before I went to school, I almost cried like a little baby, when the she came to its climax. I still get goosebumps from stuff like this.

  • @zakryals I know this is from the move aand probably the most BA intro to a movie I have seen.

  • Respond to this video... Is it just me or do captchas get way outa hand sometimes?

  • There was a time, when Women where man, Man where man, and children where police officers...

The 90's where the age of many awesome things.

Now, i'm not your average kid that listens to Nirvana and only says this because everyone thinks that way, no, no... I was Born in 1990, and shit was awesome back then.

We had so many special shows and cartoons to get attached to...

Now? What do we have? Stupid Teen Icons and Empty Animes.

Cowboy Bebop made me what i am.

    ...

    A cigarette adict. . ; ~;

  • I'm not a huge anime fan, but a former friend of mine showed me the "Cowboy Bebp" film and the second I heard "Ask DNA", I fell in love with it. :-)

  • @NoInfringementIntent I'd seen stuff like Pokemon and DBZ when I was younger but I wanted to watch something more mature and found this... Cowboy Bebop is easily the best of the best or pretty damn close to it anyway.

  • @Stiglitz51 I used to watch Pokemon, but I never really saw DBZ, but that same former friend was a DBZ fan; I just never really got into it, though. Though the only thing I saw relating to Cowboy BeBop was this movie; I hadn't watched the series yet.

  • @Stiglitz51 Adult swim has said(accordding to wikipedia) on a couple of occasions that it is the greatest show that they have aired.

  • @zakryals Yeah. I watched Cowboy Bebop roughly around a yaer ago now and it's easily the best show or anime I've ever seen. Hell without it I probably wouldn't have as much of an interest in anime as I did before watching it. I've Trigun, NGE and just recently Hellsing becuase of it.

  • @Stiglitz51 for me its Darker Than Black, Black Lagoon, Tokyo Majin and Samurai Champloo - with Cowboy Bebop my favourite after reratching it recently and Darker Than Black comming in second place

  • @Stiglitz51 and let me welcome you to my world.

Well, Wolf's Rain got me into anime.

But Bebop, it really brought me into anime. I've now seen Trigun, Samurai Champloo, and Ghost in the Shell because of it :D

  • @peyloh123 Yep same here. Just finished GiTS about 2 months ago as well.

  • Beck the old tv show? I wanna see that now! YOUTUBE! maybe they have the old show? love the internet

  • Beck the old tv show? I wanna see that now!

  • I love cowboy bebop!

  • This and Trigun, still considered to be some of the best anime out there and they have amazing soundtracks to boot.

  • Why does this remind me of Beck? @_@

  • SAMURAI CHAMPLOO, COWBOY BEBOP, AND BIG O....

  • Ed is adorable! :3

  • Okay. I've put it off long enough. I'm buying the complete DVD set.

  • @SaaberProductions good for you :)

  • @SaaberProductions definately worth it

  • Awesome song!

  • UGH! Every time I see that dog they have I feel so: "AAAHHHH!!! I want that dog!!!!!"

  • @soldierinthesand you have to be a heartless idiot so you don't want a corgi dog!

  • I have the whole series of Cowboy Bebop and also the movie. I will never stop watching it. I am loving every minute of it every time I see it. :D

  • I self practice the same fighting style as spike, JKD, nothing serious, but the whole make like water thing works wonders. :) see you in space cowboys.

  • What's up, sweet cakes?

  • Comment removed

  • @hasjua06 It's that thing where you take a lyric from the song and use it for the title but it's barely in the song at all or even just once.

  • @hasjua06 What's up, sweet cakes?

    Who's hip anyway?

    Earthgirls are easy

    Whatcha gonna do, lil' buckaroo?

(Hey you, better ask her nice!)

All you gotta do, happy fool, is ask your mom

  • @hasjua06 2:19 thats all i got to say

  • @ladycharmer12 maaan dont know why i asked this silly question anymore, i guess i was drunk or something haha

  • spike's an easy-going, cool , bad-ass type of guy ever

  • 1:01

  • Its one of the best, Still Love Samuri Champloo and Boogeypop Phantom

  • What point of the timeline does the movie take place? Plz don't spoil it I haven't seen all the episodes or the movie yet.

  • @1113stve its like 2 or 3 episodes from the the series ending...i hate saying those words when it comes to cowboy bebop

  • @AnthonyJaxin Thanks, I notice that shows that do it all in one season seem to be way better than those that go on forever and just get worse over time.

  • @1113stve It takes place I think it's between episodes 22 and 23. I'm not sure, but it definitley is before the last four episodes and after episode 21

  • The hell? Is Spike only 175cm? xD

  • @Nat4Brendan

    More like 180 8D

  • I don't care what anyone says, Cowboy Bebop: The Movie is one of the greatest movies ever made to me, because like Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan and LOTR, it would've been awesome if the show or any source material never even existed beforehand. My opinion though.

  • @Conspirator19 actually....

What is this kind of post doing here? xD

  • @Svorty Truth be told it was actually from reading these hundreds of posts and a lot of my friends saying this movie wasn't as awesome as it should so i was trying to spread the word of how awesome a Film it really is not just a good movie LOL i was probably high when i wrote this or something anyhow; plus the song is from the movie so i thought it was okay

  • @Conspirator19 True that. My bad I responded to your post (also high xD) without reading the rest of the posts bellow. My apologies ;)

  • @Svorty

    No problem dude

  • Bang.

  • Do you have comrades ?

  • the track is pretty much the "spirit" of cowboy bebop

  • 11 People are Tea party members that hate on amazing music, 11 people are mad that they didn't stumble on shatty ho down music, 11 people are mad that they stumbled on amazing Yoko Kano's music. 11 people have Beiber Fever. 11 People are Deaf and stupid, even Helen Keller would love this music.

  • Not sure what a "cowboy bebop" is (or even how I found myself here), but ... well ... who am I to complain? This is rather groovy.

  • @spankrod cowboy bebop is probably the best anime that even westerners enjoy. it's a pretty damn good show if you ask me.

  • @LysergIY well i think its the mix of music that makes the show its finest. dontcha think?

  • @tehmanga exactly. not just the music too. the story and the music go together very well also

  • @LysergIY Its a classic :D

  • @LysergIY EVEN Westerners enjoy? Anime is VERY popular in many western countrys, Especially America and has been for many years.

  • @22Lucid hi. i beg to differ. it is only now that it is getting traction. slowly. even now, there is a stigma if you consider yourself an anime fan. people now know about it a lot more, but it doesn't mean they are fans. other western country, i don't know. anime in u.s is not as popular as you think. sure you can find an occasional naruto headband person in you local high school but i doubt anime is popular. anime like pokemon?sure.durarara fans?not many.it depends on the standard of "popular"

  • @LysergIY You're chattin' with all the wrong people if you think the anime fandom is still relegated to the slim minority of young kids who enjoy watching Naruto. You've gotta remember that all those kids grow up so we're getting fans who are senior citizens and on down the line who have been following the anime industry for a few decades now. I find myself pleasantly surprised whenever I sniff around and find that there are a *lot* more anime fans out there than we tend to assume sometimes.

  • @Garonyldas oh i understand that. but that doesn't make it "popular." it also depends on what people mean when they say popular. anime hasn't reached mainstream until recently and the general population of America have different opinions about anime. most people don't care for it or don't like it. the people who like, say pokemon or dragonball z, might not be fans of anime. they only like certain shows but not the whole spectrum that anime as a whole delivers.

  • @Garonyldas i've met people who love pokemon and that's it. no other anime. i've met people who love digimon or sailor moon because they grew up with it, but that's as far it goes. for example, a person loves "welcome to the jungle" song, but they could care less of what happened to the GNR. they probably don't even know that steven adler was once the drummer in the band. they are not a fan. they just like the song. i think i'll stop here because i'm just rambling on.

  • @Garonyldas he he he you got it man been a fan of anime since back in the GIGANTOR hit america i moved on with voltron, space train 999, and then video games like dragon quest and chrono trigger.(young bucks dont know) ( always been a Akira Toriyama fan) thats how i got into dbz. but yeah anime runs deep and the roots are wide.

  • @LysergIY I thought it wasn't a huge success when it aired in Japan, but was well received in the States because of the Western influences.

  • @DragonTwister11 I read that it was a cult favorite in Japan but the main problem was that it never aired properly in its initial run because of the mature themes, only a handful of episodes played the first run. Adult Swim aired them all and it was an instant cult favorite

  • @ReconnectTMC that could make sense too. From most of the animes I have watched, they don't really handle alot of the mature themes really well. Cowboy Bebop handled everything pretty realistic.

  • @DragonTwister11 I think that is why I like it more than any other anime that there is, honestly I don't even like most anime anymore :/ its just all about sex appeal. imo

  • Goku = ultimate nice guy of anime

Guts = ultimate baddass of anime

Reinhard = ultimate pretty boy of anime

Spike = Coolest cat around... Porco Rosso a close second...

  • @voidofambition While i agree with all of those, you forgot one

    Alucard= Ultimate Psychopath of Anime

  • @infernai LOL so true

  • @voidofambition More right imposible

  • @voidofambition Vash the Stampeed , ultimate nice guy!

  • @voidofambition You're my new youtube buddy.

  • @voidofambition you forgetting Vash, alucard and Arsène Lupin. Vash is great but there are still a few more gems out there. i'll personally pick Vash over spike any day. but spike is brilliant nonetheless.

  • @voidofambition you forgetting Vash, alucard and Arsène Lupin. Vash is great but there are still a few more gems out there. i'll personally pick Vash over spike any day. but spike is brilliant nonetheless.

  • @Madkinglord1 trigun was awsome and the animes wrap up was epic. alucard as in castlvaina or alucard in hellsing? well either way epic!!! Arsène Lupin??? no clue so i must be out the sync... ive heard of lupin the 3rd and that was comedic. so alucard from hellsing would win power wise. and vash from trigun would win overall season viewing wise(took up many many weekends of me life to watch on cartoon network on first air)

  • 11 people have no-one to blame save for bad genes or DNA...

  • @murphe777 It's comments like this that make people dislike the video.

  • late 90's early 00's = good music

  • This song makes me feel very cool.

  • Earth girls are easy!!! ^w^

  • @Kyttii Yes they are. You know you got swag when you can pull a green chick like Capt. Kirk in Star Trek (2009)

  • Good times. Saw this back on Toonami when I was but a young boy. Anime cherry popped. I just can't hate this. In fact, I love it!

  • i feel like Bebop and Firefly are two of the best shows ever that ended before their time, and so alike in subject matter and style and cool.

HOW CAN YOU NOT LIKE A SHOW ABOUT SPACE PIRATES!?!!?!?!

  • @mikepyro713 And now i have to ask the obvious question: What would happen if we combined Bebop with Firefly?

  • @infernai the people on Fox would probably cancel it before it airs, as it would suerly lead to many lawsuits caused by the spontaneous melting of minds due to eradiated levels of pure awesomeness.

  • One of the best shows out there..... To bad theres no more new episodes........i recommend Ghost in the Shell if you like cowboy bebop you'll like it

  • One of the best shows out there..... To bad theres no more new episodes

  • I love that picture because it SO perfectly desribes their character. Jet, Spike, Faye, Ed, even Ein....

  • I watched the Cowboy Bebop movie recently, and have now moved on to watch the series....all i have to say is this: I can't believe i deprived myself of something this awesome for so long.

  • @nycwiseguy91 That'd be a damn sexy alarm tone. I'd do the same if I could.

  • I'm gonna set this as my alarm clock song

  • Dig.

  • I feel sooooooooo chilled right now!!

  • @IMBAGO243 Get them all on DVD :D (I got it, very expensive but worth it x_x )

I showed the movie to my GF, and she fell in love with it and want to see it all ^^

  • I used to be an asshole before I found Cowboy Bebop and Trigun. Wierd how shows can change a person. O.o

  • @soroku I know this will sound extremely geeky, but hey! that damn show teached me a lot of things about friendship, family, dealing with the past, and women. Maybe when I was a kid I didn't understood, but now when I grown up and watched the sessions again, I've found a lot of similarities with my real life

  • @soroku lol it seems most 90 animes and anime's influenced by the 90s animes seem to change a lot of people for the best. :P

  • @soroku

    Because this world....

    THIS WORLD IS MADE OF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    LOVE AND PEAACCEEEEEE!

not really, but it struck me funny.

    bhahahaha

  • @soroku How so?

  • @soroku I used to be a nice guy before I read your comment. Now I will be an asshole FOREVERRR!!!!

  • @soroku I'm glad it was those two shows that changed you.

  • Bang.

  • such a great show, i saw a episode of it as a kid didn't understand it too much but it was awesome too bad it was soo short

  • @trumpeter811 same

  • I.LOVE.THIS.ANIME. And I looooooove this song!

  • I love this song!

  • This song is so groovy

  • Great song!

  • Love this song!! LOVE THIS ANIME!!!

  • "Watcha gonna do, little buckaroo?"

    ^o^

  • This song makes me happy!

  • Knocking on heaves door , best movie for me

  • amazing song!!! it is 1 am and I am just belting this song away :)
